Happy Christmas to me from my UMHB Alumn daughters... I'm going to Stagg, they got my tix and room boarded. So I have a thought, perhaps we, the crunatic D3 fans could sort of meet up, if not at the BBQ Lunch but at the stadium. I can post up a D3 flag if ya'll want.

I received an email from the Alumni mailing list that said we were home team. I purchase 4 tickets on the home side.

If they do it by seeds (the usual way), UMU should be the home team, being the defending champs.  (About 7-8 years ago they added a new 'tie-breaker' for seeding of undefeated teams: performance in the previous season's playoffs.)

It's not by seeding -- it's by "which fan base will look best opposite the cameras on ESPN." UMHB is the home team, though I was told at the game that they will be seated on the visitors side for those purposes.

In other words, the "home side" might not be the side with the pressbox?

Ha, No bulletin board material.  I'm just excited to cheer on the Cru.

I wonder, though, if there are any bets going on with former UMHB/UMU players?  I usually pick up on Twitter chatter along those lines, but nothing so far this time.

Check out last year. UMHB wore the yellow jerseys and UMU wore the dark jerseys. Worked out well. Home team has the choice. Best to both teams.

UMHB posted their own page about the game and the city of Shenandoah's page about the game and neither mentioned a parking fee. Doesn't confirm anything but UMHB's page was not short and full of little details about other things so I would think they would mention it.

Yeah I hate those convenience fees, seems to me it would be easier on everybody if we buy online so they don't have to as many ticket booths on site.

Me too. Very thankful I don't have to worry about convenience fees this week!
