Don't forget about Benton at WR also. I think this will be his year.

So in the Alumni News - #17 Blake Jackson WR for the XFL Houston Roughnecks scored last night in a nice grab for a touchdown. He had a good night doing his job, running his routes and delivering when the ball came his way. But we do have to get to him and work on his post TD dance...

Some news on Coach Hal Mumme who used to helm Belhaven. He is OC for the XFL Dallas Renegades, he took a hit from a player coming out of bounds and it is reported on this fall he broke his leg, and stayed in the game to the finish.

If true, hope for the best mend Hal...

Since we're in the down season here is some news from players going beyond their college career. Reggie Cole is back on the roster for the DC Defenders.  Reggie was an intrical part of the 2018 leadership team for the 2018 Championship Cru. He was drafted by the Defenders, Waived and now he back on the roster.

Meanwhile #17 Blake Jackson is still doing his job and part of the undefeated Houston Roughnecks

Since we don't have any sports... It sure would be nice for UMHB to post replays from 2018 or something lol.  I know, I know... A guy can dream right?

We can have some fun with this though, what games would you want to see? The championship runs would be fun to watch but some others for me would be

9-11-04 UMHB vs Willamette
My first game as a UMHB student was a good one with UMHB winning 25-22 in a double overtime game.

11-22-08 UMHB vs HSU
The only other game that UMHB essentially won in walk off fashion with Alan Munoz kicking the last field goal with just a few seconds left in the game

9-17-11 UMHB vs McMurry
UMHB took a 28-6 lead into halftime that was extended by an hour due to lighting, Hale Mumme's War Hawks came all the way back to make it 28-27 and elected to go for 2. Javicz Jones intercepted the attempted and essentially ended the game.

9-21-13 UMHB vs Wesley
Not sure I would want to watch this on video but if I could relive the opening of the CRUthedral that would be awesome.

11-22-14 UMHB vs TLU
Still bothers me I didn't get to see this game in person but the 24 hour playoff game was definitely one of the more interesting games in UMHB history.

Could pick more but those are the ones that pop to mind.

Wonder how that appeal is going for UMHB concerning the forfeiture of their NC for 2016? A little closure from the NCAA would be nice since sports is not on the agenda for the foreseeable future.

I'd like to see Thomas More at UMHB...  ok, maybe just whatever was filmed during warmups that day.

Given that the only thing Trinity (TX) charges for is concessions, I'd love to know where these "revenue" numbers come from (yes, I realize this is self-reported by the schools).

It must be endowments and fund-raising.

Can anyone debate that the Cru have had 4 of the best MLB's to ever play D3 football?P. Meyers,J. Freeman,J. Jones, and Jones. Has any school been as sound at middle linebacker as UMHB?

crufootball

I assume anyone interested will have already seen this but UMHB is going to release some archived football games, only one game at at time, that we do get to vote on, but its something. This week vote is the 2019 UMHB vs HSU game or the 2016 regular season game against Linfield.
