Indians,  ...the Kick-off Guide tells you who will win each conference and in the case of the ASC, how far XXX will go in the playoffs!  (Each team's projected finish/record, etc.  too much to "just be told..."

ZMotion, the HSU Media Guide is AWESOME!  80 pages about "The winningest team in Texas!" ;)

Would you just tell us what is in it instead.  It would be more cost effective.  Thanks.

Indians, ditto what Z and dsc said!

These web sites (D3football.com, D3hoops.com and the message boards at D3sports.com) are now "pop-ups free".  The proceeds from the Kickoff e-mag give them enough money to avoid pop-ups and other types of obnoxious advertising.  This year they will use some of the revenue to defray travel expenses so they can see some games in person.

Their server expenses are incredible.  This year, they will have about 4.2M visits on D3football and another 3M on D3Hoops.  The message boards have had another 182,000 posts on 442 topics.  I cannot imagine what D3 sports would be like without them.

Everyone at D3football.com has a day job, so this is a real labor of love.  Pat Coleman has been on the McMurry campus twice in the last 4 seasons, so he has a very good understanding of what it is like at McMurry.  Check out these photos from the Gallery. Kinda makes you ready to rumble with the Cowboys!

When you compare similar boards for D2football and NAIA football, you will realize the quality that we have available to us.  When you consider how much time you are going to spend on these boards, it is only fair to support them by buying a subscription to the e-mag! :)

I wouldn't be surprised to see Josh Kubiak as the player of the year for the ASC.  He is a tremendous safety.

HSU has a scrimage this afternoon.  I'm going after I finish manning the freshman orientation booth for my church.  I'll let y'all know what I see.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Look for #49 at safety.  I can't make the scrimmage.  PM with how you think he did.

Thanks,

Z~

Z--

All I can say about Wisconsin is that it gets HOT there, too.  When we played at Stout a couple of years ago, I was sweating buckets sitting in the stands.  It was legitimately over 100 degrees on the field turf that day.

It'll be an advantage, but probably not as much of one as you might expect.

BTW, who is HSU scrimmaging today?

I heard the scrimmage went well.

Looking at the HSU schedule can anyone explain to me why for the second year in a row they are play "at"  TLU.

Bill McCabe

calhsu,  I think Austin College leaving required the conference to redo the schedule.

dsc

Schedule...that is correct...

One more week!!!!
