Way to go minni!!!  It must be your purple and gold blood!    ;D

+1 to Minni for defending the conference and state! ;D
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

I read on the link below that this is Wesley's 10th home game of the year.  How does that happen?  8 regular season home games.  I felt better about the game when I saw their score with Whitewater last year.

minni- we disagree on things from time to time, but this is DEFINITELY not one of those times.  The Purple and Gold blood is boilin' baby!

Wouldnt be any fun if we agreed on everything.

Side note UMHB may get a sibling of mine for one reason, he is following his girlfriend.  But im going to make him visit HSU, and do my best to try and convince him otherwise.

This is the third playoff home game so that would mean "only" seven regular season home games.

Love it Minni I said it last week and I'll say it again to quote Ray Wylie Hubbard

"So screw you were from Texas screw you were from Texas we're from Texas baby so screw you. Texas is the best there ever was and I don't give a damn if I never go to delaware anyway. So screw you were from Texas we're from Texas baby so screw you."

Go CRU!    ;)

It certainly is nice to have a little outside trash-talking to come onto the board to put into perspective what is happening here.

We were having an educated, collegial debate about the task at hand and then that Yankee comes on here and just throws out a pile of bovine excrement.

I don't worry about UMHB taking Wesley too lightly.  I am sure that the 2005 game films are too vivid to forget.  I just realize that by the Elite 8, it takes outstanding execution.  (The 2005 Wesley/UWW game was influenced by Wesley's not having the correct shoes for the game.  Please remember the weather and field conditions!)

Travel safely, CRU and fans!

With my kids' high school going to the State Semifinals (5 games deep) for 3 straight years, I know that late November football is lots of fun!

Let's enjoy another 3 weekends!

I read the sketches of the 10 Gagliardi Finalists.  Just my opinion...

Chad Otte looks my choice...3.75 GPA in Biology/Pre-Med or
Josh Brehm 3.75 Business/Psychology.

I tend to favor the student-athletes with the more challenging academic loads.
Ralph,
Are you saying being an MDiv student is not as demanding as biology/premed or business/psychology?  I have a minor in biology (29 hrs jsut for kicks) and I promise the work load for most of my seminary classes is more demanding than any bio class I took.  To further my argument, when I started at Logsdon we had a student that was finishing up his last year in seminary who had been an orthopedic surgeon previously.  His surgical career ended when he developed macular degeneration.  David told me in a theology class that seminary was far more difficult than medical school was because rather than learning by repition and practice he had to synthesize ideas.
mhb8904, I think that I could handle Seminary relatively easily.  I had 18 hours in the Religion Department at McMurry.

I can handle most blood and gore, but "human carpentry" does get to me, a little bit. :)

The blood and gore thing is easy for me to handle as well.  The most disturbing thing I have ever experienced, however, is when my wife had our oldest daughter.  She needed an emergency c-section because my daughter wouldn't engage the birth canal (real big head).  She hemorrhaged during the c-section, which I was watching because the anesthesiologist invited me to stand and watch, and had 4 Ob.s trying to stop the bleeding.  So I'm watching everything they're doing and trying my best to act like nothing is wrong.  My wife never knew there was a problem until she awoke in the ICU after passing out from loss of blood.  The disturbing part was not what I saw though, it was that this was my wife.  If it had been anyone else, it would have just been cool to watch.

Well, you guys aren't from Delaware, but we will welcome you anyway! :) Is it Saturday yet? Should be a great game, enjoy the tailgating y'all and atmosphere. I hope we are as gracious hosts as you were last year.

Pat, OK, I goofed on my math.  7 regular season home games is a lot.  How do they do that?  Some D1 teams can pull that off by paying lambs to come to the slaughter, but I doubt that is the case with Wesley.

Pat Coleman

They only have four conference games, so there are six to play with, plus someone dropped out of the league this year, juggling the schedule. Guess they got lucky this year -- most years they have to drive to Indiana or Florida to find a 10th game. This year they saved a little money, apparently.
