I am here also. I hope that the game Saturday is really exciting and capped off with a Crusader win.  I would have been able to go if the game was in Belton, but I don't think that my six-month pregnant wife would want to be dragged across the country or be left alone while I went cross country.  Anyways I believe that the Cru will show up prepared to play, and I know that Kubiak and all the Seniors will play to lengthen their last season as a Crusader.  Take care and safe travel.  GO CRU!!!

Hopefully Wesley won't be able to get a big lead in the first quarter. As per the printout on the 32-team playoff summary, Wesley's outscored opponents (prior to the first round games) 107-7 in the first quarter.

(Milwaukee's getting hit with up to 8" of snow as I post.) Interesting conditions for Whitewater/St. John's tomorrow.  :D

Six months? That's plenty of time, and it's not even hot outside so she wouldn't have the discomfort of being very pregnant in summer.   ;)

Of our three kids, 1 was born in August in Texas and the other 2 in February.  The February births involved much less wife suffering.

It snowed in Abilene yesterday, and its still on the ground!  Of course they are expecting it to hit close to 50 today... probably be 90 in a week :P
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Many of you are coaches or former coaches.  Please be in prayer for the town of Paducah.  The JV Girls bball team was on their way to tournament, the coach driving the suburban hit a patch of ice and rolled the suburban and one of the girls died instantly.  I cant imagine going through this as a coach.  I know this is a football board but I know I can count on your guys' prayers for this family.  Thanks.

That's tough. Thanks for the info, minni.

We are an ASC "family".

I drove the school bus for summer day-camp at a YMCA one summer.  What a nightmare!  Thanks, minni. :'(

The whole town of Paducah is on my prayer list.  :'(

umhbcrufan16, billy et al.,

Stone Station will be setup by 10am tomorrow across the street from the endzone that sells the tickets. Just look for the banner. You may want to park along the street around the field and walk into the tailgate area. I believe they charge $5 a carload to park in the tailgating field. I'll have a brat or dog and a cold Heinekin for any posters who drop by. ;) Of course we will have the alternative beverage as well! ;D ;D

Good luck and I look forward to a great game.

Nice Roocru.  Where are you going to be this weekend?  We are going deer hunting so I will be sitting on a high hill with my cell phone to my youngest son getting updates on the game.

CruAlum39 has his playoff game at 1:00 pm in Pasadena Memorial Stadium so I'll be in the stands there.  I guess I'll have to wait until I get to my mother-in-law's home in Houston after the game to get some scores. :(
MUCH GOOD LUCK Crualum39 tomorrow in Pasadena Mem Stadium!!  Roocru, cheer for me too!!  I have to stay home.  I was thinking about going up to Dover to see UMHB but had an accident.    A brick wall jumped up and bit the left side of my face Wednesday morning as I was trying to put my trashcan back on the porch.  I was very lucky because my left arm & shoulder missed the huge rock and so didn't get rebroken in the fall and the blow didn't break my neck.  I was able to get to Dr. Huffman's by myself where he said as usual  "I thought I told you not to fall!"  Then he told me I had to go to RMH to the ER and that I couldn't drive myself there.  We both agreed on that move. Many hours later after CAT scans of head and face and Xrays of arm and shoulder, they decided that there was nothing broken, although they weren't sure why not.  I told them I bounce pretty well.  But my ear is huge and blue and I'm blue from my chin to the ear.  Stitches behind the ear.  And one  hell of a headache since 8:30 am Wed. morning.  NO FUN AT ALL!  :'( :'(   Don't try this at home or anywhere else.  Hopefully I won't look like Frankinsteina by the time the Stagg Bowl comes around.  But if it does, I'll be the one with the BIG BLUE EAR!!  I'm planning to watch the WW-SJU game.  Last week it was great.  The kids did a very nice job.
I'm hoping that UMHB does great in Dover as well.     Wesley at home is tough.  I remember last year.  What a nightmare!!!  >:( >:( They beat the crap out of us.   I asked Stone Station to do communion for UMHB before the game and drink some of the pink stuff for me!!  E-brownies to all and enjoy the football game, Texas-style!!  (Sure hope some of the UMHB people stop by Stone Station--it's right across from the ticket entrace at Wesley).  Let me know how the kids do!!
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

That is terrible news.  My thoughts and prayers go to the families and all of the town involved.  Life is not fair.

To the Cru,

As a loyal alumnus who turns 37 today, I say to the offense score my age... To the defense I say don't let Wesley score my age...  Give me a great b-day present, another trip to the semis.
