"I've been tracking some semi-explosive "big men" from mostly small schools as kind of utility players. Kyle Zaharias of Georgetown (KY), Adam Wolff of North Dakota, Larnell Ransom of little Menlo College, Eric Matthias, a shot-putter from Boise State, and J.P. Bekasiak of Toledo all had impressive workouts." This was a website I was reading.

I also saw where several D3 players were on nfl.com, then go to pro days.  I know it is not the conference, but McM did play Menlo.  It is something just to look at.

Anybody have an update on Carrollton's bid to host future Stagg Bowls?  I've done some looking around--though admittedly not a whole lot--and can't seem to find anything.

I'd very much appreciate any info out there.

Coppell.

Congratulations to Gray Fox on his 1000th post!

Gray Fox is a real fan of D3!

I want to thank him for his help with the ASC Pick'em Contest these past few years!

Gray Fox

Thank you Ralph, and you are welcome for the pick'em.

It was close.  A couple of days ago I posted on the Women's lacrosse board, something I have never done.  It was almost 1000.  I thought that I had better get back to football. ;)

"The Lobos will be a trendy playoff pick in 2007 with 54 lettermen returning. The offense looks to return every statistical leader from 2006, 10 of 11 starters overall while the defense returns 9."

Wow ... I don't know about that. That's a bit of a stretch, I think. Awesome that the preview is up, however -- kudos.
