That's a...um... different....and...interesting.. coaching decision.  I guess.  I sure wouldn't do that. 

If I WERE going to go for 2 and the win, (which I probably wouldn't do at home) I would actually, you know, run a play with my skill players and not my kicker.

Just seems like another one of those things where a coach sees it work at the D1 level (I believe LSU was the first to try that play, and it went for a TD) and then he thinks it's the coolest thing ever and puts it in his playbook.

Home vs NC Wesleyan.  Looks like it should be a great match with this being the first 4 year senior class to make the playoffs.  They have a lot to fight for, but we should be up to the challenge.

roocru, sorry if you look like me our wives must have a great sense of humor.  But at least we raised our sons right, I was real impressed with yours and Ralph can vouch for mine.  Hope we can all get together for a cold one some time.  Just sorry we didn't get to stay longer (my wife was feeling pretty puny that night).
Small world sometimes, our sons playing against each other in the high school playoffs and then at college.  And then your son is living about 3 miles from where I live.  My son just moved back to town.

Right, because eliminating banging on drums means the game is played in a mausoleum. Overexaggerate much? Just make noise without artificial assistance. It's not like NCWC is going to bring a lot of fans to counter with.

I sit on the 50, 17 rows up, and I try to get the crowd going, and a lot of times, they sit there quiet.  I start chanting "D-Fence" and they sit there eating their dog and DP.  The crowd needs to step it up big time!
