Since Chad Johnson's now Ocho Cinco, maybe O For Four isn't taken.  Sorry I didn't know the Spanish translation.

It would be funny if Johnson got traded to a team that either has a well known WR wearing 85, or which had retired the number.  What an a**clown.

Jake Allen made the Packers practice squad, was one of eight players signed today.

We should keep in mind all of our mates at LC and maybe some at etbu and MC, and all of the players whose families are sure to be affected (affected) by Gustav.

I know this is short notice, but you can listen online to a new sports talk show every Monday at 4pm central

"Sports Overtime with McMurry"

This show will be an overview on the world of sports from a McMurry point of view.  Your hosts are McMurry's SID Ben Dobson and yours truly.
Today Head Coach Donny Gray will be live in studio for an interview.

Have fun.  Wifey says I have to stay to help get the new house set up.  The nerve!!!  :D

So far just rain here at etbu.  Some winds last night but other than some minor tree damage everything here is good.  Its supposed to rain all week so practice could be limited.  Our gym used for walk throughs is set up as a shelter so I am not sure what the team will do to get practice in.

etbualum,

good to here no horrible weather thus far there. Any word on any of the players families from LA or southeast Texas?

etbualum

I know several of the players families have made their way up this week.  Lots of athletes have had families relocate to relatives who are out of the path. They have made some shelter space available for them, not sure that any took advantage.

Anyone coming up for the thrashing that SJU is going to dish out on Saturday? ;D

Thrashing or not, you should have a good time, especially if you join in on the tailgate.  See details and meet the cast of characters on the MIAC-West Region Board, the most active board on all D-3. :)

Not that I think ETBU is going to win and infact I wouldnt pick them to win but that doesnt mean im not rooting for them.  I would love for them to go up north and hand out the thrashing.  Should be a fun game and congrats to ETBU for scheduling the Johnnies.
