;) :D

In all seriousness, I think D3 would enjoy seeing UMHB, Whitewater, and Mt. Union playing each other in some combination again in the semi's and championship game again.  I also can't imagine any of these teams really minding those caliber of matchups to claim the Walnut and Bronze.  This could (and probably will) be the 10th consecutive year that at least one of these three teams is playing in Salem.

With all due respect to these fine teams, there are plenty of us who would be thrilled to see a final four without any of them.   ;)

If it's a final four, there's always room for another team.   :)

My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

In order to be champion you must beat the champions... I'd like to see another match-up perhaps even another home and home match-up series in future seasons

Yeah, I know it's been a couple of weeks since this was originally posted, but I'm sure Mount Union would enjoy a rematch this year, in the finals or semi's.  You beat them before, and most fans have been looking to a rematch since.  After all, "if you want to be the champion, you must beat the champions"!

What's the over under on 2 of them playing in Salem?

Louisiana College had 177 players report yesterday. The first practice is today. Enthusiasm and expectations are running high after last season's 7-3 campaign. Following is a link to a story in Alexandria's Daily Town Talk: http://www.thetowntalk.com/article/20090813/SPORTS09/908130329/1006/SPORTS/Louisiana-College-poised-to-contend-in-ASC

Someone on the OAC board following a different thread mentioned something about "bet 10 to win 2" that either UWW or MUC is in the game.  Maybe about the same for 2 of the three to be in the Stagg?

Last year UMHB scrimmaged a team from Mexico.  Is that in the works again this year?
