I'm really surprised by the LC-HSU score.  How much did Feaster play today?

Came in late in the third, was ineffective throwing the ball.

Feaster came in with about sd seconds to go in the third.  He made a few good passes abd scrambled some, but he didn't have good accuracy.  He threw several that should have been picked.

How 'bout those LC Wildcats! No surprise here. I went on the record earlier in the week and said I thought an LC win was a strong possibility. Without Feaster, I thought HSU would be particularly vulnerable and LC is on the rise. When Feaster did come in late in the 3rd, it was obvious that his shoulder is not in good shape; he did not throw the ball well. The only surprise, I thought there would be more scoring by both teams. Both defenses played better than I expected.

I was surprised LC decided to run the ball.  HSUs defensive backfield is suspect.  Once Feaster came in, and he did have some success, my thought was if he makes this close, LCs coaches are going question not trying to put up a big number and playing the clock game.  Instead, Feaster marched HSU down the field and then couldn't finish and turned the ball over on downs.  LC scores and goes up by 3 scores...ball game.  Good job LC Wildcats.  way to start a season.

That just happened...WOW...2 over confident and cocky teams go down on the same day. Least USC kept it close and had a chance. RIP HSU and USC...

TLU has free video of the game.  Syncs nicely with the UMHB Audio.  24 yd TD pass from UMHB Noack to Davis.

I can honestly say I haven't heard anything from anybody since Feaster and Robbins went down.  I think everyone gets how big a deal that is.  HSU also lost a Olineman today

shows lots of class Yessir. You are an absolute ______ (fill in the blank). I wish you would forget your user name and log in and get lost. Tough break for HSU hope everyone else stays healthy. Congrats to LC on a big win for the program. I'd file HSU's lose under "Key players Hurt" not Over confident. I'd also like to point out that most of your posts error on the side of COCKY and OVER CONFIDENT. You are classless I could do without you and your opinions. Congrats again to LC for a good win and a great start to the season.

I want to acknowledge the Sportsmanship shown by MissColl last night.

They took a knee on the PAT attempt on the last TD late in the 4th quarter.

+1 to Chris Brooks!   ;)

Ralph,
Thanks for that. I really didn't know what to expect from yesterday's game after the Cumberlands loss last week and how well you guys played against Trinity and Austin College. From looking at film I know our coaches and players thought you guys had made major improvement from last year. We'll find out how good we are in the next few weeks playing HSU, LC, UMHB and ETBU with an off week mixed in there.

I saw your comments about our kicker on the other board. His name is Brannon Walls and he's also an All-ASC baseball player for us. He leads the ASC in made field goals (4), is second in punting (39.7) and leads by a lot in kickoffs averaging just under 67 yards per kick. He does have a very strong leg, I've seen him put it through with room to spare from 60 yards, and he owns our school record with a 56-yarder last year.
