I think that there is a good chance that MC goes 3-1 in that stretch and definitely 2-2.

Shaffer makes no mistakes, and you have the athleticism to handle those teams,

I reviewed the defensive stats for the McMurry-MissColl game, the third game of the season.

Twenty-six players were credited with a tackle.  This is the breakdown:

Freshmen -- 9
Sophomores -- 11
Juniors -- 3
Seniors -- 1

It is time for us McMurry fans to be patient.

Dang...rough weekend for all Cowboy fans in general...tha GGGG-Men...Really good weekend of football. Go CRU!!!
Walking on thin ice cuz someone lost......again.

I saw UMHB this weekend and they are loaded with speed.  May not be quite as big as in the past, but they can fly.  Daniels is really fast and the freshman QB is also.

I was looking at the schedules and wondered if HPU can start the season 5-0.

I love you to Cowboyfan...:hugs:...Great game in Sequin yesturday...good to see QD didn't lose a step. That guy is a monster...good luck to all teams this week...Hey cowboyfan we should do "Brunch" Oct. 3, where u wanna meet up at. Wink wink

Yessir (Pinche Baboso),

I am appalled by your ignorance, arrogance, and attitude. It didn't take long to recognize you're not that big a boy anyhow.  With that said, Jerry Abercrombie, I would love to take you up on the offer. Let's do "Brunch" Oct 3! We can meet at Drag By Customs. That's your place, right? If you would feel more comfortable, we can meet at Wal-Mart where you may orderfill our "brunch" in your "Meat and Produce" section. I was very impressed with your website and encourage others to view it as well.  With all you have said, and to think you may have been somebody...100% THUG!!!!

"WINK,WINK" ;) ;)

Give Thanks....
Give Thanks to God for being a good God. He blesses us all with so much but we still ask for more. The more we get, the less we appreciate. I just want God to know that I am saying "Thank You" for all of my many many many blessings.

Remember that Jerry Abercrombie? What has happened to your attitude?  :-[

Pat Coleman

Hmm, alright, both sides have had their fun, so let's let it go.

That's an official warning.

HSU and UMHB still have important games this weekend.  We'll see how good UMHB's defense is against a good passing game.  I think the UMHB offense will be able to move the ball.

HSU's defense is the concern.  96 points given up in 3 games.  I assume Feaster will play this week and they will probable score a few points themselves.

CruAlum58

We will see about this weekend. I am impressed with how well UMHB has come out of the gates. I am interested to see this weekend how the Lines are shaping up. There were some major holes to fill on both sides. That is what is special about that program. When it is your time, you better be ready to step up.

Im excited to see the rest of the alumni this weekend.  8) Time to get hugged up.
Six yards, seven yards Everybody loves PIZZA!

Shock the World
Its beginning to look alot like Christmas........

crufootball

I will very interested to see UMHB against a good defense because if they can even come close to the amount of production, especially the pass offense which is a nice plus, than I think its going to be a long season for the opposing teams defense.

brunch n. A meal typically eaten late in the morning as a combination of a late breakfast and an early lunch.

I was inviting u to an early lunch...prior to the game...but I guess you don't wanna join me...I was looking forward to eating some of that good Abilene BBQ I'm always hearing about And ur right man...ima nobody...just an old washed up ex-player...I'm sure I'm the only one of those around these boards. Unlike urself nothing on this board is taken personal by myself...its just fun football talk imho. Much like the texts that I sent out to my Dallas Cowboy fan friends last night...all fun and games. Guess that's not true for everyone. I'm excited about the game this weekend...due to being busy with job related stuff I haven't been able to see the Cru actually play yet...should be fun. Lookin forward to seeing some of my old buds...good times for sure.  ;)  ;)

Pat,

i really wish you would get rid of Yessir. He makes posting on this board a lot less enjoyable and he seems to always need to have the last word even when he's been, "OFFICALLY WARNED." Sure would be nice to not have to worry about him posting on this site. Just a thought though. On a more football worthy note. Any word on if Feaster will be back this weekend or not?

Cowboyfan, I haven't heard anything, but I can say from what I witnessed Saturday that something is amiss.  He had arm strength, but accuracy problems.  A friend said its basically the same injury Bradford at OU has.

I'd expect to see him soon, but we'll have to see how he progresses
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

cowboyfan

thanks for the update Toby. That was the basics i got from listening to the game saturday that the accuracy wasn't at normal feaster level. Just wasn't sure how serious the injury was since he did play some last week. Hope the boys get it back on track before OCT 3rd. I'm planning on coming the 3rd if you still wanna do BBQ i'd love to meet up with you maybe YESSIR will join us for BRUNCH.

I'm certainly down for some pre-game Harold's.  Of course if I get through a 2 meat plate with fries and cobbler (strawberry hopefully) I may be too tired to cheer.  ;D

Yessir, you interested in joining us?  I'd bet you love the jalapeno hot water corn bread.
