roocru and toby, not much of a game today.  i didnt think anyone could play worse than wesley did last week, but it seems that w&j was completely overmatched.  wesley at least battled despite the turnovers, this game was over early.  i will just ask for the fun of it, who was better wesley or w&j? :D  hope you guys enjoyed the bbq today.

i was thinking about trying to find a way to make the game next weekend, but with the 2 week vacation starting the following week i guess i will just have to listen or watch next week.  enjoy the game in the warm confines of belton.  i may decide to make the drive to alliance since that will be much cheaper, less than 6 hours by car so that is not bad.

win one more and i will see you guys in salem.

D O.C.

Humph!...Washington and Jefferson.

Dominating win today by the CRU!  Great job.  One more next week against UWW.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

I didn't get to go this week, money's a lttle tight right now so no extra expenditures.  :'(  Even though I didn't see the game, I'd say Wesley was probably the better team.  I told my dad after last weeks game I'd be surprised if W&J kept it within 21; I even guessed double digits on my pickem, not 57 but double digits, I would never go double digits against Wesley.

QuoteGood luck UMHB go out there and beat the Presidents (Dont even know if I am allowed to say that  Cheesy)
Oh and its also very exciting to see that Keith, Pat and Ryan all picked UMHB to win first time this year in the playoffs we have had all three predictions in our favor. Thanks for the love, maybe UMHB can win the hearts of many more this weekend.

It stinks being ONLY ranked in the Top 5 most of the year.......and still get no respect.  Sucks for UMHB!!!   Wink Huh

Use whatever you need to pump yourself up!!!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Kickhoe, do you think that he would have that inferiority complex about lack of love and respect, if his diploma had said Hardin-Simmons University?     Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy

GO CRU!!!  I love to beat W&J!
I have one that says Hardin Simmons and I thought they got tons of respect Ralph.  Grin

Like Toby, mine says HSU and I thought they had a darn good season.  A break here and a break there, UMHB would be sitting at home like HSU.  UMHB pulled it out!!!

But today, it was obvious....W&J did not give enough respect to UMHB......just look at the final score!!!   :-[ :-[ :-[

Despite all of the crazy talk by some posters....I'm very happy that UMHB is representing the ASC so well.  As it looks right now, UMHB is clicking on all cylinders and have a darn good chance of winning the whole thing.  I hope they can do it!!!

kickhoe

My guess is that Pat, Keith and Ryan are not going to pick UMHB over any of the remaining teams!!!  Nobody respects UMHB, they all underestimate the power of the Cru.  Who cares if we beat one of the final 8 teams by 56 points.  NOBODY RESPECTS THE CRU!!!!!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

drinkxs.com

who cares if anyone respects us, the game is won on the field not the blogs. we need to be the underdog against uww, to this point, we have yet to beat them. but i believe we have a great chance to do so this week.

congrats CRU

CRU96

Great game today. The offense was dominate, (both rushing and receiving) and the defense was stellar.  It is good to see Kyle Noack come in later in the game and get some good minutes going into next week.  Great coaching job again in preparation and implementation. It is simple yet profound UWW coming to Belton.   The Semi-Finals in Belton!  Way to go CRU!

Focus, Respect, Hunger,Win.  Now we turn our attention to the Warhawks.

CRU96

Watched some of the Wartburg vs. UWW on the internet.  Any possibility that we could have video coverage live from Tiger Stadium next week?

I don't think that there is enough bandwidth outbound from the stadium!

@d3jason

A Texas high school football stadium without all the ammenities? What is the world coming to? :D ;)

They may have to move the game to Whitewater! :D

Once again, congratulations to the Crusaders for yet another dominating win.  Well done on the spanking.

Wesley College Football.... A Winning Tradition not to be soon forgotten!

Wesleydad,

This was a worse monkeystomp than the 2004 game.  Wesley was better.

To the Cru,

Keep getting better!!  You want your best game to be next week's not this past week's.  Unfortunately, I will not be able to be there next Saturday.  I must work for my company at the NIAAA (national AD's) conference in San Diego next weekend.  I already have my tickets to the Stagg Bowl and would love to watch you guys play one more time.  ;D

Beginning in 1999, it took you four times to beat Trinity!  Focus on next week and make the fourth time the charm for UWW as well.  ;)  Check out my signature at the bottom!!  :)
