Inching closer...on-side kick coming?  Or kick long and hope for a quick 3 and out and punt into the wind?

What happen to the MHB offense????  Also what happen to the def.???   At home none the less.
The wind has changed this game beyond recognition.

UWW has played better, tho'. I think that the key was the UWW 11-play 80-yd drive before the half.

UMHB 44 yd FG with the wind.  32-13

I did think that UMHB would be able to win this one, but while I'm not surprised that Whitewater is winning, I think it's safe to say I'm surprised at the way the game has gone.  Did anybody honestly think it would play out this way?

Teamski

Actually, I think it more has to do with the Wind than Whitewater's overwhelming abilities.  UWW is good, but I think that it would of been a far more even game if the wind had been settled.

UWW's Coppege broke a long one to the UMHB 46.

Jay, the punting statistics are interesting.

Coppage is taking control now.

I can see the wind playing a factor, but both teams had to deal with it.  Was it that UMHB fell behind and struggled throwing the ball to play catch-up?

look what they are doing in the fourth quarter...not much to do with the wind..just good ole fashion running the ball

Ralph Turner

Great defensive stop for UWW.

TD Anderson 38-yd TD run.

Oh my...the wind is there for both teams, unfair as that might sound...

TD whitewater...a run...nothing to do with the wind!!

Yes, both teams play in the wind, but Donovan did better into the wind than either UMHB QB.

Coppage and Anderson looked much stronger than the Hurst, Bryson (who went out early in the first quarter) or any other UMHB running back.

I think that the wind even neutralized a slight edge that UMHB may have had in the kicking game.  A 10 MPH wind is one thing.  When you can't even net 20 yds on your punting for the day, then that is wind.

I believe that inclement weather will favor a taller heavier UWW in any situation, and this year is no different.

I am interested to see if UWW can beat MUC next week.
