Will there be a live video broadcast of the game today?

40% chance of rain at kickoff in Abilene.

What is the chance the game is either postponed greatly or cancelled and rescheduled for, say, tomorrow?
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Cowboyfan is correct as to the feelings of the HSU Fan Base...  Really
tastless comment on "What's left of Hardin Simmons"...
Yes..  awesome ones are hurt and out but...  there are still Awesome Ones
that will on that field giving their all...

Proud of you...  Cowboys and will be making Lots of Noise tomorrow...

amazing how quickly people forget. HSU has been VERY DOMINATE in the last 20 years. Cant believe this site. Think about it this way D3 fans if UMHB wins out and is down next year you fall completely off the D3 map. If LC or MC makes it to the top tier and then HSU is back next year you still get no respect. I think it is really sad how slanted this site is. NO respect from me. Good Luck Cowboys.

Seriously, I don't think anything rude was meant by that.  These are the same guys who had HSU as a top 5 team and who still had HSU in the top 25 after a loss to Linfield.  These guys recognize the importance of Feaster and Robbins to the Cowboys team.  They're special players with the ability to change a game.  Realistically there aren't that many players on any D3 team that fill that bill, and when you lose 2 at the beginning of the season (as well as Defensive players) it really is what's left of the team.

I'm a crusader fan, no surprise, but I'm pulling for HSU on every other weekend and at games when we're both in town.  If UMHB had the same type of injury situation and was so heavily influenced by the skill positions, it could easily be "what's left of UMHB."  HSU will win its share of games this season, and no doubt they will be loaded for bear and bitter about this year next season and when they are, HSU will get the same respect they have for as long as I have been following D3 football

That was last years team.  WE were decimated by injury.  It was difficult for us, but we fought through it.  I know HSU will do the same.  No disrespect for HSU here.  My cousin played for them back in the 90's.  I know they are a proud program, and I'm thankful that they are.  I too, root for them when we aren't palying them.  I'd love to see a time when all of the teams are so great that there are a few teams in the playoffs.  Go ASC!

Depends on how bad the weather is today, I guess.  Not sure they can play on Sunday?

Toby Taff

As of now, the weather isn't bad in Abilene.  It is cloudy and in the mid 60s.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Toby Taff

Future cast is showing potential rain showers around 2 pm this afternoon.  Unless there is lightening it is unlikely to delay the game, but it might make for a cold wet mess.

Ron Boerger

I think the weather service has greatly overestimated the rain today ... or at least, mistimed it.  I'm thinking about hopping in the car to see the game down in SA.

Toby Taff

It's cloudy and cool here.  I'm dressing warm just in case it rains and taking a poncho

Good game today Cru. Bailey is a stud. Remember though you just beat, "whats left of Hardin Simmons." GOOD FIGHT COWBOYS. Heard Tucker was shaken up... Never heard any conclusion is he ok?

Toby Taff

Tucker was back the next series.  HSU d played well, but as a former cowboy player said post game, "that was a good old fashioned country but whoopin.".

Physical... That is always the mentality UMHB brings when they play HSU. Keep focused, LC was much improved last year, they have a good coach and great athletes.... Always scary
