Remember when UMHB went to the Stagg Bowl it was a freshman at QB.  Beat the #1 team in the country with 2 TDs in the 4th quarter.  Not sure we would have been in Salem without that freshman QB!   ;)

Hey, I'm not complaining, I love LD; he brings a great feel to the game.  And again, our D is playing very well! I'm psyched!   :o
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

a little biased there, aren't you Kelly  ;) ;D
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Biased concerning JW? Just a tad, Toby, just a tad  ;D.

On another note, I will have to really realign my allegiance if my son decides to play at LC next year - which he is seriously considering. Time will tell.

Picked this up off the South region fan poll section.
This is not for Wesley in the playoffs, wonder if NCAA would move the games they would host to a neutral site or make Wesley hit the road.

That's a two-month old story. Delaware has backed off its plans.

That's how I became a Cru fan!  ;D  It was a great experience for our family.

You mean you're not sending him UMHB?  What the brain washing didn't take?

Short article from MC on the game. Interesting stat about defense in ASC, UMHB #1 MC last.

Defense wins championships!  ;)
Thought I would throw that out there since we don't get to see the other teams play each other. I look at the stats in more detail than the score.

I am hoping that MHB will have the same success that U of Cumberlands had early this year with their version of the option. Looking forward to being in Clinton on Saturday.

Toby,

He has several friends at LC & some on this year's team that are planning on going. He has not ruled out UMHB. That said, his younger, but much bigger, brother will be a freshman in high school next year & playing football as well, so if Torrey does stay close to home it would be easier to make all of his games. Like I said earlier, time will tell.

I understand.  My oldest has embraced UMHB as her future, but the youngest talks about Hardin-Simmons.  Of course my kids aren't choosing a school for next year so there's still time for minds to change.

Great column in the Around the Region, Jason.

You certainly know the region.

I cannot argue against your logic and the choices that you have made for the "mid-season" awards.

Thanks for doing such a great job, from all the way up there in Delaware!  ;)

(Of course, I don't know why you don't just move your family to Texas and teach school down here.  ;D  )
