At LB/Safety you would have to include EHenri, Trina Lusk, Jeremy Salinas, Ryan McCabe, Tucker, DWill.
We probably shouldn't leave Jerrell Freeman off this list.

Really who cares. Couldn't you guys get together and Email your all time fantasy football CRU team?

Isn't talking about football kind of the point of this board?

Of coarse this site is for FOOTBALL. Just didn't think it was FANTASY FOOTBALL. MY all time BHMU team verses YOUR all time BHMU team. HSU did something similar this year on their OWN WEBSITE. Perhaps you could get with THE CRU web management team and put your thoughts there. If not then email that way people who really could care less who the best CRUSADER DB of all time is don't have to sift through your posts as well. Just a suggestion.

Should be an interesting week for the cowboys. Should be much more rival in the cross town rivalry.

McM has a chance to tie it this week! ;)
(never thought I'd be saying that)
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

My all-time UMHB defense:

I started attending UMHB in 2003 so my picks are from them to the present.  I know there were some great players from the start of the program to 2002 but my picks are from 2003-present.

DE: Zunker and Dewease.  These two stick out in my mind but there were some other great players such as Hilton, Williams and Bristow.
DT: Elex Reed and Terrence Carroll.  I think Danforth could move into the top two as well.

MLB: Bret Page.  There have been a bunch of really good ones.  Preston Myers, Stephen Morton, Eric Henri and Jeremy Salinas.
WLB:  Jerrell Freeman.  One of the best players in the program's history.
SLB: Ricky Lopez.  Bryson Tucker could be here as well.

CBs: Brett Parker and Anthony Johnson. Barcak and McPhaul were both great players as well.
FS: Josh Kubiak.  Tony Salazar was also a great player.
SS: R. Johnson.

I will have to think more about the offense and get back.

I would like to see an all-time all-conference team but I don't know enough of the other teams players.

First off, a great win for HPU (always cheering for the underdog).

This week, I don't even think I am cheering for the underdog.

Should be a great game this weekend.  My son and I will be there.  We saw the game at TLU and although they beat TLU fairly handily, I don't think we saw anywhere near the best game McM can play.  Too many costly penalties and the McM Qb didn't have his best game missing a lot of open receivers with the OLine having problems giving the Qb enough time.

Two weeks to fix those problems, a look at the historical records, and I think we will have a great ballgame this week.

Nice team shipmate. I think we all know #83 will be on the all-century offensive team for the cru. He ran corner routes like a pro.

They still get the AQ if they win out.   I'm not real confident that their next two opponents can beat them.

Having MC win out is like watching your mother-in-law drive off a cliff in your brand new Mercedes; both good and bad ;). If they win out it helps UMHB OPP; if they lose and we win out we get the AQ. Agree with Bill, upset not likely unless long bus ride to Alpine takes its toll.

How tiring can it be?  The trip is only around 900 miles one way.  ;D
On the ATN podcast Pat was talking about Alpine being in the western part of Texas and it being a long way from Clinton.  I was thinking, " It's a long way from Abilene."  It's almost half way to Los Angeles from Clinton.

Alpine is a long way from everywhere!  ;D

And you don't even get to travel very far on the segment of I-20 that has the 80 MPH speed limit.

Boy, howdy, we drove from El Paso to Austin on I-10 (until just E of Junction) and driving 85 sure does make that part of the country go by in a relative hurry.

LOL.  Relative to driving 60-65 in the old double-nickel days, it's a pretty big difference.  I remember driving to Alpine once back when and I didn't think I would EVER get there.
