MC at Huntingdon. And was that UMHB at Central?

D O.C.

QuoteYes. The west.

You bet.
Do your job Cru and come on out to the Willamette Valley for a reacquaintance party.

According to the D3football week 10 Top 25 poll, to get to the Stagg Bowl, UMHB will play #6 Central, #5 Linfield, #4 St. Johns, and probably #2 Whitewater.  This week's Born Power index pick them as winners until they get to Whitewater where they will be 9.7 point underdogs.

Let's go Cru.  You can do it again!!
Anything that you ardently desire, vividly imagine, totally believe and enthusiastically pursue will inevitably come to pass !!!

This is very exciting.  We will see quite a few new teams, hopefully, this time around.  I know nothing about these teams, but it doesn't really matter.

The coaches will get the guys ready; all it comes down to is playing CRU football.  Everyone is out to prove a point against us no matter where we end up.  We have to come out, cut down on the penalties, run it up the gut, and pass it like we can! That is what we need to do CRU, let's go!
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

So, is UMHB the #5 seed?  If so, who is the 6...or who would have to win from the other side of the bracket for UMHB to host in the Quarters (Third Round)?

Interesting game plan. I don't feel like UWW will/would have any point to prove against you. Seems like they've already done that. What point do the others have to prove?

We really don't have any point to prove against you, no offense meant but the only thing we want to do is win and play the next week, doesnt matter who its against.

So ive never seen UMHB play, but looking at the stats it seems your best RB is the QB. Can I assume you run the option, or is it more a zone read type offense? I also notice there is not alot of size, but I assume theres plenty of speed to go around? Looks like were gunna have our own version of "big ten doesnt have enough to compete w/ SEC teams" type of style clash :D
Looks like a VERY interesting match-up..cant wait.

I think the numbers are a little misleading.  Bailey is pretty good running the ball, but Quincey Daniels, who is finally hitting full steam and Bryson Tucker, who started the year at DB and moved over for the second year to help out when the injury bug hit are a potent 1 - 2 no matter who gets called 1 or 2.  Mays is pretty good, too.  Unfortunately, he has been fighting the injury bug and has 2 other really good backs in front of him (Mays led the ASC in rushing last year at Mississippi College).  As for the issue of size, I assure you there is enough size and as they say, "speed kills."  I don't know anything about Central, but look forward to a good game saturday.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

crufootball

The number are definitely misleading especially since it appears that Kyle Noack is getting more snaps as QB. Also Toby is right that Quincy Daniels and Bryson Tucker appear to be peaking at the right time and both averaged around 100+ yards a game rushing when they were running at their best.

For those interested, you're invited to participate in the OAC Playoff Pick-Em Contest.   Whether you joined us in the regular season or not, your welcome to join for the playoffs.

Spreads for Round 1 have been posted in the General Page.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.
