Saw the guys loading the bus this morning! The Purple Crush is coming!!
You making the trip?

I wish I was.  My wife is pregnant and is due any day/moment.  :o

I'll be watching online or going over to UMHB where they will have a watch party! ;D
Well, congrats on the upcoming future CRU!  I was supposed to be a Thanksgiving baby and held out until December 2.

Watch party?  I wish I was closer to Belton that would be the way to go.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

There is going to be a watch party on campus for all the students not going to the game. Although I am very happy to hear about all the students making the drive up to the game.

The watch party does make me nervous though, because I believe every time we have had one of those they wished they didn't because we did not win.

Also there was an interesting story today in the TDT about Bryson Tucker and how he was actaully recruited by Central to play football.

The thing that I find interesting is that people are concerned with the physicality of Central and how the Cru can handle it. UMHB hangs its hat on being physical. Dominate both sides of the ball. If the Cru is focused on the task at hand I think this game could get ugly, real quick. Time for this group to become living legends. Good luck in Iowa..... More to come next week.

Saw where Jake Allen was released by the Packers 11-18-2009. Good Luck to him. I saw him play the one game he dressed. I dont think he had any stats, but at least he hit the field. When ws the last time an ASC player saw playing time in the League?

My understanding is that he was signed by the Browns.  That might actually lead to PT

I thought the Cats were itching for a rematch.... isn't there some unfinished business you guys want to take care of? Some doubt you want to clear up? Something about a Miracle in the Mud? Come on, you know you're cheering RED tomorrow.  :-*

"...this game could get ugly, real quick." Wow. I picked UMHB in the pickems, but is there a weakness of Central's you can identify or is this a general lack of respect?

I think this is a former Cru player speaking his mind.  I don't think hes trying to be disrespectful.  I think he's expressing his experience from UMHB.  He also might feel that some of the Central fans are dismissive of UMHB because of a perceived lack of size, which seems to = lack of physicality in their minds; and he's sure that if the Dutch come into the game with that attitude it will get ugly quick.

No kidding? I don't think anyone in Pella (or the rest of the D3 nation) is dismissing UMHB -- we are going into this match up with the utmost respect for your program. Believe me, there is a decided lack of trash talk because we think we are pretty evenly matched from top to bottom. It will hopefully be a decent game. (I'll be disappointed to see a blowout in either direction after the billing this game received.)
