Late in the 4th quarter, UMHB had 3rd and about a foot to go for a first down and they threw deep.  Can someone explain that decision.  A first down and we probably aren't biting our nails.  I about fell out of my chair when I saw Bailey throwing.
I like Bailey as a player, but he did the same thing yesterday that he did in Clinton, he became predictable and the D started teeing off on him because he's really not that big of a threat with his arm.

Bailey can throw the ball. I saw several passes this year where he has the arm for it, just inexpierience. There may be some "calling his number", but I think it is inexpierience.
i think its inexperience too.  early in the year it seemed like his passing was more effective, but as the season went on his handling of the option became more predictable.  The announcers at MC pointed out his hesitance to pitch during the MC game.  Yesterday he pitched more, but often in a position where QD or BTuck couldn't do much with it.  Those things will come with experience, but make it a little scary during the playoffs with a game on the line.

I doubt if Bailey called that play.  It was way out of character for UMHB.  A 1st down would have used up a lot more time.  If they run it and don't make the 1st, then time runs off of the clock or Central used a time out.

Lever Street

You can't get to CatDome without seeing Lever Street.   Go Linfield!

Let me be the first to welcome you to the Catdome !!  This should be a great matchup.  Weather will be in the eighty's so just pack light--shorts and flip flops will do--sunscreen is a must.  Dont mind all of the Cat fans that look like they just wandered in from their duck blind.  We always expect rain.
Tailgate action starts early and you are all welcome.  We are the group down on the corner by the Wildcat bus.  Dont mind that the group looks like old harley riders--we are friendly ( until the bell rings at gametime)
Electric longies are the drink of the day-- you will like em !!
I'm sure both teams are bringin their A game for sure--fasten your seatbelt--lets get it on !!

Phone it in !!

Gig Harbor Cat
Must have been drinking those Electric Longies all day for that weather forecast ;D What time do ya'll start the tailgate would like to stop by and drink with the enemy ;D

(and we WISH we could play Wesley any time anywhere)

Wesley has plenty of open dates.

It would be a non-region game, but it might work for both teams.

UMHB and Wesley are both open according to the open boards site on Sept 11, 2010, would be a great way to open the season. Although I thought I read earlier this year that they actually filled their schedule.

Last I heard, La Grange may have backed out of its contract with the Wolverines, but other than that I think theyre full.

Any UMHB faithful making the trip to Oregon are in for a treat in McMinnville. The Catdome is a great DIII venue. The absolute best game day experience of any place I have been. I had season tickets for 6 of the seven years I lived in McMinnville.

The Mac residents will give you lots of "musts" but for me you have to drive or walk down 3rd Street in the heart of Mac. It is a great downtown area. There are a variety of good restaurants, but for a really unique experience you need to go to Alf's. It is a burger joint near the Linfield campus - and it features a live monkey.

The Catdome is a tough place to play and will be packed on Saturday. The CRU and the crowd need to stay focused.

I wish I could make the trip. The Pacific Northwest is beautiful come rain or shine. Odds are, this time of year, you won't see the sun. Even without the sun there will be plenty of heat at Maxwell Field. Go CRU!

We'll see if we can get a decent crowd this weekend.  Thanksgiving break and then you add in the fact that the Ducks and Beavers are playing the "biggest" Civil War game ever this Saturday (Winner gets Pac10 title and Rose Bowl Birth) so I'm sure that will hurt some.  However, the Wildcat faithful that will be there will give it their all.

Safe travel to our ASC friends and see you all in a few days.

Anyone coming out who would like to trade football shirts?

Is there any live video at Linfield?

CONGRATS ON THE WIN SAT.!!  GOOD LUCK In McMinnville
The Linfield crowd is great!  You will have a marvelous time.  I did 2 years ago when I went out to see them against HSU.  And I would be lying if I didn't confess that the CATS  are one of my favorite teams.    However, I know some of your great fans and I enjoyed the 2994 STAGG Bowl and met many of you at that time.  (I have cheered for you'all many times!!)  Now one of your coaches in 2004 is a position coach for my team at BC.  And we love him!!!  I will be at the Stagg Bowl as Stone Station will continue to offer a great tailgate to the fans of both teams who make it there.  The brownies were certainly be there!! All my best, Olinemom
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

You're telling me, back in 2006 me and a couple of friends made the 25 hour drive to see the game. After the first 15 hours it's all downhill from there.  ;)

The 1st 15 hours was getting out of Texas?

The longest part was actually Tenessee, felt like we were never going to get out of that state. Still can't believe I did that but I would do it again in a heart beat and it made it that much sweeter when the next year I flew up for the game (I got a year wiser I guess) and we won and I got to go to Whitewater.
