I HEARD MCMURRY GOT SOME GOOD TALENT THIS YEAR FOR FOOTBALL. MAYBE WE WILL GET BACK TO WINNING YEARS WITH MUMME? DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NEW RECRUITS?

Is there a reason you type in all caps?  It's very in your face and It's a good way to have people discard your post completely.

I did hear that Mumme had a WR commit that could really be dominant in the ASC over the next four years.  He's out of Austin and I think McMurry fans will dig him.

Here is a news report on him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8P9BCA61z4

That news clip seems to be from 2004.  There may be a question of his eligibility.

Did the appearance on Letterman make him a "pro"?

How has lost any eligibility due to semesters spent at obedience school?

Are we a little sensitive??  Who cares how he types??  He obviously was not being a jerk.

It just makes posts unreadable in my eyes.  Most boards ban ALL CAPS because of this.

I guess he'll just have to wait for a ruling on his eligibility and you know that dealing with the NCAA can be rough.

Welcome aboard.

Does he run track as well?

McMurry's Coach Barbara Crousen is the only woman in the history of the NCAA to lead a men's track team to a national championship in any division of the NCAA.   ;)

i heard he runs the 220 and a pitcher in baseball. I wonder how we got him?

I generally don't post rumors/speculation unless I know there is some teeth to them, so here is the latest and it won't make MCM fans happys...

The latest news I am hearing is that Mumme has been quietly speaking with Tarleton St about its head football job.  They have been keeping it quiet due to the coaches clinic they had over the weekend, but things are going to start getting hot this week.

My son has committed to McMurry, if Mummee and his staff leave that may change his feelings for McMurry.
