G O   C O W B O Y S !!!!
Either way, he was seriously laying the wood Saturday.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

UMHB will have to improve on their performance in the scrimmage, particularly the defense!!!  I was impressed with the ETBU win; hope that bodes well for UMHB against LaCrosse this weekend.  I was surprised with the LC loss.

Good luck to HSU this weekend against a very talented Willamette squad.  The 'Boys DC better not just sit in the same defense all game or Willamette's offense will kill you with their adjustments.

It should be a barn burner.

Looking at heading up for the Willamette game this weekend. Even though I am a Cru fan, I will definately be pulling for Hardin Simmons on this one! Go ASC!! Good luck Cowboys!

Let's go Cru. Lets win one in Wisconsin!
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

best of luck to the Cru up in Wisconsin this week.  Going to get to play in a beautiful stadium against a solid football team!

TxFight can I take it you were in attendance for the ETBU-La Crosse game?

Bill McCabe

I'm interested in how McM, ETBU and HPU will do this year in conference play.  HSU has a tough first game.  Willamette always concerned me when UMHB played them.

Looking forward to another great year out of the Cru. Its about time for them to make a return trip to the Stagg. And good luck to Mark Carey who is now at TLU. They have a good staff and will get that program turned around. Good luck and I look forward to some good banter here on the boards.  8-)

I just read an article from the Temple Daily Telegram in regards to a new addition to the UMHB team...

"UMHB's receiving corps received a boost with the arrival of 6-5 junior Damian Davis.

The former Mart standout was Oklahoma State's second-leading receiver in 2008 before a falling out with the Cowboys, who dismissed him in February of 2009. He sat out of football last season and has been in Crusaders camp for about a week."

Hey La College folks, thinking about making the road trip to Pineville this weekend. Got any suggestions for good restaurants to hit while we are in town?

Any comments on how ETBU caused so many turnovers? Getting 4 interceptions is impressive.

Defense really just put the clamps down and made the plays when they were needed.  It seemed like they were having to defend a short field alot, but time and time again they just stepped up and made the big play.  It helped that the d-line was able to get pressure on the qb without the aide of the blitz, which obviously meant ETBU was able to drop 6-7 guys into coverage.  UWL is no slouch though, their box defenders were very good.  Just like the defense though, the ETBU offense just found the big play when it was most needed.
