UMHB, please listen to me, "just say no to any t-shirt for this game."  I thought it was a bad idea then, and I haven't changed my mind.  At the end of the 2004 game, many t-shirts went into the trash can outside the stadium.  Right where they needed to be. Show up, scream loud, and wear normal fan attire.

Yeah, as soon as I showed up for the pep rally the night before the UWW game and I saw shirts, I nearly turned around and left. I didn't have a good feeling.

out of curiosity...what did these t-shirts say?

Not In Our House

It was a hot humid texas night in belton, texas as the cowboys krept into town. They attacked with might weapons and their defense could not be breach. As the crusaders ran to the hills, fearing  for their life. Their new empire has fallen and the old kinghas returned. Cusaders don't fear the cowboys are merciful and will not rant anymore. Now the ASC boards will become quite once more.   ;D

Again the HSU education rears its ugly head.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

I came to Logsdon because they discontinued the MA @ UMHB.  It was only after that I discovered the quality of educator in the school of theology.  can;t speak to the rest of the university.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

The Abilene paper really gives McM more of the benefit of the doubnt than it does HSU.
This past Sunday is an example. McM loses, but their game is the headline on the front page of the sports section. HSU's win is buried in the thrid to last page. And that is typical.
Actually, no.  A few years ago I collected clippings from the Abilene paper on coverage of the basketball teams.  The coverage was so heavily weighted in favor of HSU that we posted the clippings in the McM locker room to inspire our players.  And don't forget that the Sept. 23 issue of the paper - just two days ago - had a big story on the HSU defense with a large picture on the front page of the sports section.

What is the weather forecast for Belton?  It has been raining in Dallas for hours.

Looks like a pretty good chance of some thunderstorms, could the weather end up being the 12th man for the Cru?

It's so amusing that HSU fans are so proud of the 3 years that they beat up on a young program...meanwhile they've been getting dominated for the last 8 years...FYI HSU fans...you haven't had a historically successful season since 2001...the last time that UMHB didn't leave you at home in November!!! Why you are still trash talking is beyond me... Well good luck tonight...I hope for a good game and a UMHB victory!!!
Walking on thin ice cuz someone lost......again.

yessir
facts:
hsu: asc champs 7times sharing 1
mc:  asc champs 2times sharing 1
mhb:asc champs 7times sharing 2
etb: asc champs 1time sharing 1
mhb has 8/5 lead in series
MHB has dominated last half of the 15 years HSU dominated first half
But MHB is declineing like hsu did after many years of dominating.
Timing is about right for a new team to dominate for a few years my guess
McM or HSU
MHB time is about done

Speaking of being done...stick a fork in em coach!! Now we get to see 4 minutes of typical personal fouls at the end of a UMHB victory over HSU!!! Good luck to HSU...y'all should have a good season...looks like your back to normal. Farwell...see y'all next year. Yessir...signing off.

That was a good and exciting game...congrats to the CRU!  HSU just could not stop the running attack of UMHB.

Yessir, just for the record...HSU got in to the NCAA playoffs in 1999-01, 2004, 2006, and 2008.  Many teams would like to be able to say that!  During 1998-2004 HSU held a 5-2 win-loss record against UMBH.  Since 2004 through 2010 there have been 9 straight losses...the current record is 11-5 win-loss in favor of UMHB.  The COWBOYS are good and will ride again.  HSU is not ashamed to lose to UMBH...it is just embarrassing!!! >:(    :'(

The season has a long way to go...so we'll see what happens.  I was hoping for a playoff game IN ABILENE!!!

Hold your heads up COWBOYS...finish the season...there is still much to do!  We are proud of YOU! :)

Go HSU COWBOYS!!!
