Thanks for the update Crualum58..Always good to hear the o-line is dominating.  He might have some tackles that aren't vertically challenged but he'll never have the tackles that will get down and dirty for him like we would.
If it's not about winning and losing then why keep score?

I know you play them one game at a time but who on the cru's schedule is the next big threat?

LC

Kelly Boggs

LC has the offensive firepower to be dangerous, but the defense has thus far struggled. The Wildcat D played decent in the first half against MC, but gave up 35 points in the second half. In the second half the offense turned the ball over three times and the defense was on the field way too much. LC will have to play much better than they have to this point to have shot of upsetting the CRU. That said, IF the Wildcats protect the ball, and IF they can slow down the UMHB rushing machine (much easier said than done), and IF they can force the CRU to pass more than they are comfortable with and IF the Cats can force a few turnovers, well then we could have quite a game in Pineville on Saturday. Point of reference, there are four big IFs in the preceding sentence  :).

Come what may, I'll be pulling for my son and the boys in orange and blue. Go Cats!

The next game.

Any UMHB friends making the trip to Pineville for Saturday's game let me know, I'd love to get together and visit.

Yea I know the standard answer.  But having played with the cru and knowing the mentality of the kids I know they know who they are playing as well as who is later on down the schedule.  So I guess I should have formed my question different.  Who other than HSU and the Cru is playing really well this season?

Or maybe LC is playing really good.  Just looking for a run down on the ASC this year.  Sorry I've not kept up well and I'm trying to get back up to speed.

I have a feeling that Coach Dunn and company have gone to school on the UMHB vs McMurry game film. McM did some things right and there is no doubt they put a scare in the CRU. Any given Saturday ladies and gentlemen, any given Saturday.  ;)

Geaux Wildcats!

Anybody think the MC coaching staff will be in attendance for the UMHB-LC game, they have the weekend off and need an ASC victory or they would be 0-3.

Also congrats to Darius Wilson and Chad Peevey of UMHB for being named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.

Kentucky at Ole Miss at 11:20 am on Saturday or traveling to Pineville for the 12 noon kickoff?

I prefer the UMHB-LC game.

I would think Coach Joseph would too since he was a Mississippi State man.

The Bulldogs are hosting Alcorn State at 11 am.  That one should not be a close game.

Ok I will admit I have too much time on my hands sometimes, but I am numbers junkie so like I did last year I have developed a D3 BCS rankings of sort. I have combined the D3football.com poll (50%), the AFCA poll (25%), and the computer polls (Laz Index, BPI, Massey)(25%). I probably shouldn't share my craziness with the rest of the world but I figured somebody out there but get a kick out of it.
