Ok I will admit I have too much time on my hands sometimes, but I am numbers junkie so like I did last year I have developed a D3 BCS rankings of sort. I have combined the D3football.com poll (50%), the AFCA poll (25%), and the computer polls (Laz Index, BPI, Massey)(25%). I probably shouldn't share my craziness with the rest of the world but I figured somebody out there but get a kick out of it.

I don't see a problem with it

Does LC normally have live stats of games, I am looking for some for the UMHB-LC game and can't seem to find anything for it?

I was hoping for a decent crowd for the UMHB vs LC game, but the local paper has had 0 coverage leading up to the game. Normally they do a decent job. The lack awareness of the #5/#4 ranked D3 team coming to town plus LSU playing at home in the early afternoon may result in a thin crowd.

The telegram had a nice story in it today, not that that'll help attendance there.

So I was watching the McMurry coaches show and mumme said that part of the issue with last week's game @ ETBU was injuries.  McM lost their #1 receiver in the UMHB game to injury; they lost their #1 RB in the UMHB game to a broken arm; and they lost their #2 receiver in the 2nd qtr of the ETBU game.  I guess if your QB doesn't have the weapons @ receiver doesn't matter how good he is.

17-7 LC in the 2nd qtr

LB came in on the last series and had no success.  QD has not played yet

Great game between UMHB and LC. LC had its chances with under minute to go. Gutsy call by Dunn on 4th and 1 from the 3 with 30seconds left in the game. The receiver was open and the ball was bit under thrown. Good play onthe ball by the UMHB linebacker to make the interception and  secure the win.

I wanted LC to take the next step and be competitive with UMHB. In years past the CRU rolled over the Cats. This year LC was in the game until the end, LC is playing a lot of sophomores and have some good freshman, They have.a freshman QB that has all kinds of potential, And of course there is one freshman DB that I am partial to. This game should be a huge confidence booster for the Cats.

A littler bitter sweet, Toby. UMHB played vintage CRU football down the stretch with a hard nosed smash mouth running game. I'm happy for the CRU. But I'm proud of the Cats. The are going to be a team tp be reckoned with in a couple of years.

Torrey loves  LC. And the he and the QB I mentioned played in high school together. He really likes the coaching staff. 

The crowd was much better than I expected. They responded well.

I'm glad Torrey is enjoying LC.  Mine still say they want to go to UMHB but who knows what'll happen in the next 5 years to change their minds.

HSU had a shaky start...falling behind ETBU 17-7 in the Second Quarter.
