Yessir....you're dumb. Just saying. That's pointless and unneeded.

Just like every time UMHB is written backwards?
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

CruAlum58

They are just upset they have been owned since 2002 by the Mighty Cru.

On a different note, Coach Keeling is a class guy and I got to speak to him before they played TLU. He remembered recruiting me and coaching against me. Good luck to him in the future.

Dang...football since 1897...and they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks...psh...Umhb has done a fine job in teaching HSU how to lose....snip snap...that just happend!!

On a more serious note...Congrats to Coach Keeling on a historic career. Can't help but to respect someone like him. Good luck on the new search for a replacement head coach. Wonder if they'll dip into UMHB's assistant coaching pool...can't beat em...hire em!! Just sayin. Thank you...thank you. I'll be here all night...good day sir!!
Walking on thin ice cuz someone lost......again.

Here is my take on the HSU vs UMHB thing.  Both programs are class programs and both are tops in the country every year.  When you talk ASC, you talk HSU and UMHB.  And I only speak for HSU, but I think the former players from UMHB will agree, both programs have yet to accomplish what they want, and that's the grand daddy of them all.  Both of us want the bronze and mahogony here in Texas.

Yessir, I laugh at your post everytime, and 5 seconds later wanna punch you in the mouth.  And it sucks that I have to bite my tongue.  Just hope this rivalry can turn around.

Jerry Bawcom

Yes, Keeling and Fredenburg, and their coaching teams, are a class act; and, we all enjoy the rivalry no matter how many seasons it has been!

I agree Dr. Bawcom.  UMHB-HSU is a great rivalry at any level.  I wouldn't miss these games for anything.

Here's D3Football.com's "Notables" take on Keeling's retirement:  http://www.d3football.com/notables/2010/11/hsu-keeling-retires

Thanks for the link. I wish we could have kept it on the front page longer but it's a crazy time and I have to keep stories rotating through. We hadn't even publicized the bracket challenge on the front page yet.

Back to capsules. :)

Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

D O.C.

Here's hoping for a healthy Quincy to peak his career in this year's playoffs for I so much like his decision to come back.

Toby Taff

Best I can tell this may be the healthiest the Cru has been going into the playoffs in a while.  I guess having the stronger teams in the conference up front has benefits.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Ralph have you heard any rumors about mcm going up to d2?

Tweet from HSU Athletics:

Hardin-Simmons will have a major announcement Tuesday at 10:30. You can watch it here: http://bit.ly/cHyq0t

Their prolly announcing their leaving the ASC...if you can't beat UMHB...change conferences so you don't have to play them again. Lol

Sorry, you were wrong.  We are not Austin College.

If Coach Keeling is out, is there a coach already at HSU that the Cowboy faithful would like to promote or do you go outside the program?
