Those good Southern Baptists from UMHB won't be caught dead in the casino, so they will avoid them like the plague.

I bet some of those "good Southern Baptists" will in fact enter the Casino ... disguised as Lutherans.

I feel your pain. Hard to believe Feaster was left off the final four too. Not that those chosen weren't deserving but wouldn't it have been nice for 3 of the 4 to be from the ASC. Perhaps this would be a good conspiracy topic about the NCAA in the coming weeks.

I completely agree with that sentiment. I am certainly glad to see the ASC represented and offer congratulations to Ben Mclaughlin. He has amassed some gaudy statistics at LC, and I'm sure that he's more than deserving with his off the feild endeavours. If he was not he would not be in this position.

However, when you look at the career of Quincy Daniels, and the community impact that he has, this is certainly a head scratcher. I cannot imagine a better ambassador for our school, conference, sport, or D-3.

Bummer for Quincy not getting the pick but congrats to McLaughlin, hopefully the ASC will a few more people in Salem cheering for him when the winner is announced.

Just shared this on the Wesley board, but I believe that this has the makings of a D3 classic. It has become a post season rivalry, with much tension and respect.  Should be great one on Saturday!  Go Cru!

I am hoping it will be a classic, it's funny to me that really none of the previous 4 meetings have been really good games. In 2005 and 2006 Wesley got the lead and never looked back and then in 07 and 08 the Cru did the same thing with 2008 being the only year when it was a big victory.

Article in todays Temple Daily Telegram about the amount of travel UMHB has had since 2004.  It has a nice graphic that shows the Cru having traveled far enough to have almost circled the globe twice.
