Perhaps the CRU should start playing "Sweet Georgia Brown" when they warm-up.  ;D
Nice Kelly.  +1
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

hazben, so if any cru player does something negative, does that mean the cru is not classy.  pretty stupid comment as the actions of no one or group of student athletes reflects on the program.  young people make mistakes, that is the way it is.

D O.C.

The 40's something temperature at game time will not hinder the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Keep those hamstrings stretched. May QD have a show-off game and LDB complete a few critical ones. Have fun.

4 Wesley players arrested and charged with burglary on their own campus over Thanksgiving... :-[

Stay classy Wesley!

Just decided to cheer for UMHB, in the spirit of DIII

They are not the only team to have had problems.  The actions of a few are not a reflection of the entire program.

OK, it is not football, but futbol: After scoreless game in regulation and 2 OT's-- on penalty kicks (4-2) the HSU Cowgirls advance to the championship. ;D
Not really a bad dog. Just misunderstood!

Congratulations!!  Who was the semi-final against?

HSU will play the winner of William Smith at Messiah ... probably Messiah, who have been ranked #1 basically all season.  Anyone in the San Antonio area should come out to the Blossom Athletic center, 5pm tomorrow.

I am pulling for HSU to pull off the upset ... Messiah is to soccer what Mt Union used to be to football.     HSU has a good shot - they've only trailed in a game once all season (1-0 vs. Trinity in the 2nd round, in a game that HSU won 2-1).

EDIT:  Messiah scored at 15' to go up 1-0.

Come on HSU Cowgirls! Bring another National Championship back to the ASC!

North 26
South 18

In the Senior All-Star game in Salem.

South went ahead with a couple minutes to go...18-17.

But the North kicked a field goal, then a touchdown on the kickoff!

Oh, well.

Go HSU Cowgirls!    :D

Congrats to the players of the ASC (HSU - Feaster, Justin - Honeycutt,Cody - Robins, ZaVious, Hornsby, Hank) (ETBU - Flores, Victor - Beaton, Evan) (MC - Cummins, Jared) who played in the D3 Senior Classic tonight.

The North team won the game 26-18 but was basically won by Dan Winsey of Concordia of Wisconsin who hit a field goal with 2 seconds left to give them a 20-18 lead. The South would try to lateral the kick off and was picked off by the north and taken into the end zone to extend the margin of victory.

Is it Saturday yet?

HSU women will be taking on Messiah, who are making it look easy against Wm. Smith.   3-0 at 76'.

EDIT:  4-0 with a rub-it-in goal at 86'.  Gawd I want HSU to take these slime down.
