Amen Crufootball...Im so excited for the season I literally registered for the board and started throwing topics out just to get some conversation. Too pumped.

And heck ya for any ASC team winning on the national scale.  ;D

I hate to be this guy, but the UMHB basketball team actually hasn't done any winning on the national scale. They've beaten two ASC opponenets in the tournament. I'm glad they've won. I'm glad they get this opportunity. They haven't proven anything on the national scale yet though. Hopefully they do on Thursday.

True Crukid, happy they got out of the Texas Sub-bracket but hopefully they can go farther. Although if you listened to Coach DeWeese on the hoopsville podcast you might not think they have a chance haha I love how honest Coach DeWeese is.
Yeah, that hoopville interview was pretty good.  Crukid, of course you're correct, but it's really about perception and no matter how you shake it, sweet 16 is sweet 16.
The ASC three performed like a cluster of 8-9 seeds, 2 really good games between teams that know each other very well.

Massey had us clustered well, too.  After the ASC tourney, McMurry #28, UTD #36 and UMHB #43.

Tough back to back conference games to open with
Football !!! The ultimate team sport. Anyone who plays DIII football is a winner...

Surprised HSU could get Coe to sign a one year deal with them.

Pat Coleman

Coe only needed one year because an NAIA opponent backed out on them for 2011 and they already had someone for 2012.

Kudos to Coe then on paying up and finding a good opponent like HSU.

Im wishing the new coaching staff at HSU the best of luck. So far they have stepped up (so it seems) and (as mentioned) picked up two quality games.

And it is an "in-region" game to boot!
