I guess this is the year Pete and the boys get one on the other thumb. That would be 10 rings in 10 years.

Darn straight. The defense is really up this year. If you look at the years that UMHB has been most successful the Cru defense has been extremely dominant. Specifically the secondary is up this year. Hopefully the boys from McMurry wont throw for a billion yards against us this year like last year. But either way its looking good! Go Cru!!!

Hoping for another big year for the cru!! Especially hoping we will whip up on HSU this year.  I'm working with an HSU alum and I would like bragging rights for the year.  So get after them boys!
If it's not about winning and losing then why keep score?

Can HSU replace their QB?  Defense usually decides this game and injuries before the game could be a big factor.

There have been only seven people post their picks on the ASC Pick em Board.  Remember that because of a Thursday game this week, your picks must be in before McMurry's game time on Thursday. Join us for some fun and possible bragging rights!
Anything that you ardently desire, vividly imagine, totally believe and enthusiastically pursue will inevitably come to pass !!!

I don't understand McMurry playing SFA and UTSA.  Are they getting a nice payday?

I don't think the details have been posted anywhere I've seen but typically there is a guarantee involved, and I would assume it is decent from FCS schools.

Plus they are heading to D2, so this may be a way to raise funds AND raise visibility for their program.

SFA is ranked 14th and they are a very good team.  I just don't see how this game helps McM in any way.  They are jumping 2 divisions to play a scholarship team without the benefit of scholarship players.  A big loss will not help their visibility.  I hope I'm wrong, but I'm afraid they are in for a long game.

So what score does McMurry need tonight to consider this game a "win" or "moral victory" or whatever? If you're a McM coach are you happy with a 40-20 loss? 45-20? 56-14?

Hal Mumme said on today's coach's show that McM is getting 60k for the scholarship program, and that the reason for playing SFC was that the option was play in Wisconsin with no return game.

My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Did he say which team it was in Wisconsin?
