UMHB is still showing an open date for Sept 8 on the D3 posting board.
They are looking for brave opponents.  ;)

Did I hear correctly that they are playing Wesley?

If so, then an undefeated UMHB that has won the ASC, beaten Trinity and Wesley makes a great case for being the #1 seed in the playoffs!

Jason Bowen seemed confident after the season that Wesley was playing at ETBU week 1 and the Cru was playing in Dover week 2.

Would that mean that UMHB's first game would be against Wesley?  The Cru have traditionally had a bye Week 1.  Pretty tough opening game.

Well speaking of tough opening games, I heard that the first game in Crusader Stadium will be against Wesley.

Side note, Damian Davis and Nate Menkin were at Baylor's Pro Day today and both looked great. It was broadcasted on ESPNU, ESPN3 and the NFL network so you probably will be able to watch it again on one of those channels. Highlight for me was watching Menkin bench press 225 39 times!

I think it is week three now In Dover. I think Salisbury has moved into the week 2 spot for the Wolverines.

That's a great OOC schedule.  3 teams that finished in the top 17 in the final D3 poll last season.  Hats off to UMHB for playing tough games.

UMHB offically released their schedule today confirming we will play Kean, @Wesley and @ Trinity. The Cru will only have 4 home games this year. http://cruathletics.com/news/2012/3/30/FB_0330120334.aspx

One thing I noticed while comparing schedules is Wesley will play @ETBU, UMHB, and @Louisiana College. I am beginning to think if we lose another football playing conference member we may as well invite Wesley into the confernce since they don't seem to mind the travel budget  ;).

But would SRSU and HPU mind the return trip in alternate years?

Adding Huntingdon as an affiliate would make more sense.

Can't let a little thing like sense get in your way Ralph when you are talking about conference realignment

LOL, but dollars are real.  +1!

One of my finance teachers taught me that cash is a fact. Profit is an opinion.

Any word on how recruiting went for the various schools?

On a different note former HSU WR Matt Fields had a try-out with the Dallas Cowboys today. He's spent the last 2 season in the AFL with the Dallas Vigilantes.
