From the looks of the game Jerrell looked to be assured some good playing time but this news will most likely increase it.

Over on the East Region/Middle Atlantic Conference board there's been some recent discussion of the new facilities at Stevenson University. I admit they look pretty nice but I was wondering what the posters from Texas think, given the quality of some of your stadiums down there.

I watched the video and that's a nice stadium, but its a little small. It only seats 3k people? That's smaller than a lot of high school stadiums in Texas.

Any facility that has soccer or other non-football lines marking the field automatically get knocked down a few pegs in my book.

Football's not the big dog at some campuses, this should tell you all you need to know about Stevenson's priorities in that regard:

In June 2009, Stevenson began plans for a new on-campus stadium that would not only serve as the home of the University's newest addition, but also its nationally-ranked men's and women's lacrosse programs, men's and women's soccer and field hockey teams.

3500 (including 440 club seats) seems smallish for a school with 3500 students, but they can probably put something on the visitor side of the field if the demand warrants.   $6M seems pretty reasonable for what they're getting (hint, alma mater, hint):

general admission seating for 3,000 fans and two-story press box that features a club level with 440 club seats, patio, President's Suite, 6,400-square foot fitness center overlooking Owings Mills Boulevard and press level with home and visiting coaches boxes, home and visiting radio booths, television and video suites and space for general media and game day administration.

There are also team rooms for football, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse and field hockey and an office complex for football and men's lacrosse. The new stadium will also feature a synthetic, environmentally responsible, eco-friendly turf surface as well as a state-of-the-art scoreboard.
