I watched much of the UMHB game via the Redlands' Internet video feed. Typical first game for The CRU: Some very good, a tad bit of bad and an instance or two of ugly. That said, Hudson is a beast. Sims looked good, as did the receivers, and the defense was solid as always. There needs to be some fine tuning over the next two weeks - and I anticipate there will be - before UMHB takes on Wesley in the first game in The CRUthedral.

One game at a time though, UMHB needs to take of Kean on the road and then return home to prepare for one of the most anticipated games in a while. Go CRU -- Up with the Purple!

Kelly, your assessment is spot on. I was pleasantly surprised with Simms in the first half. He looked sharp in his decision making and decisive on the pitch. Not sure what was happening on those two interceptions, but I expect lots of work on that this week.

Hudson is a beast and needs to be used a lot. Still some things to iron out but looking good over all.

Can someone post the links to where the DIII football teams are ranked each week and updated each week?

ADL70

See the d3football.com link, right below the "search" field above?  Then find the Top 25 button at the top.

Thanks,
I was looking for the other 216 teams that do not make the top 25 rankings.

ADL70

Try Massey ratings or Lazindex, computer rankings that usually aren't updated until Monday.

Laz has been this week:

It's in Kickoff (you have to pay for that).
Go Cats!

ADL70

Which he should, but it isn't updated week to week, which he was looking for.

Right. We do not update every team's ranking every week. (We need to sleep.) :)

Thanks ADL70
Thats exactly the type of things/sites I was looking for. I have already subscribed to and paid for Kickoff 2013. However it does not update the teams I am iterested in. D III updates the top 25 thats roughly 10 percent of the 244 teams, that leaves 90 percent of the teams, players, coaches, and fans out of the loop. I just happen to be a new fan to D III footall.

Thanks again for all the help
