If you compare the 2012 bracket to the 2013 bracket UMHB appears to be the #2. UMHB is in same position Mount Union was last year when they were the #2 behind Linfield. None of this matters if we don't take care of our own business. Let's go CRU

UMHB only leading 35-30 against MC in the 3rd quarter.

The Crusaders better get serious and stop messing around or they can kiss home field advantage goodbye.

It would seem the only way to kiss away home field advantage would be to lose.   ;)  Go Cru!

Hope you are right!

Ditto with Bill, I hope you are right tsgktx. With that said, I am pulling for Linfield. If we both reach the semis, The CRUthedral would be the venue. I lived in McMinnville for seven years. I enjoyed watching the Wildcats during the Brett Elliot era and would love for UMHB to get another shot at the Wildcats.

Take care of business, CRU, take care of business!

I just picked up 18 tickets; so I will be there, Kelly!  Section 204 row P seats 7-8, just under the President's Suite seats.

Pat, Looks like UWW is the Second Seed, so I assume if they beat Linfield, UMHB would have to go to UWW for the semi's, but if Linfield won, they would have to come to UMHB???

There has been some debate as to whether UMHB or UWW is the overall #2 - Pat has already weighed in that he just doesn't know.  So UMHB/UWW location is currently unknown, but, yes, Linfield would be at UMHB.

I'd love to see the Cru get that semifinal matchup as I will not be around for the quarters. Conference in San Antonio to go to.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

It seems that you have 4 weeks to confirm that you can receive UMHB football streaming on your smart phone in the conference room in San Antonio.   ;)

Actually the semis might be NCAA.com this year...  That is something else for you to check out.    ;D

Cru video works great on my iPhone. I've watched several games this year at weddings, working the gate at special events...
;D
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Kelly Boggs

Toby is correct. I've watched UMHB (this year) via my iPhone many times. The feed was great.

I watched UMHB at Miss Coll Saturday while at the women's basketball game.

So i'm contemplating purple monks robes for the game on Saturday. Seems like a Cruthedral should have purple Monks. Any thoughts? People willing to dress likewise?

I like it, Toby!  ;D That said, I think my Tube Brother days are in the rear-view mirror. Oh, if only we had CRU football back in the day, we would have been the most formidable, fun student section in the ASC, especially in The CRUthedral. Can you imagine Phi Tuba Luba seated near the opposite team's bench? It would have been a riot.

Now that we are on the subject: I think a saw an older gentleman decked out in a get-up that featured purple tights at the LC game. Pretty wild.

Looking forward to the road trip. We will be departing from Central Louisiana around 4 pm on Friday. Four of the Boggs Bunch will be flying low and arriving in Central Texas around 9ish. Looking forward to a great time on campus and celebrating UMHB's first playoff win in The CRUthedral on Saturday.

It is already very evident that it will require great effort to stay focused on the task at hand during the playoffs. Pray for me folks!

y'all have a safe trip. I think I'm leaving early Saturday morning and it'll be a day trip for me. I remember there were thoughts of recovering the Tubes my freshman year during basketball season. we all dressed up and we got smoked by 50+. That was the end of that. That said, the CouchCru is nice, but the Tubes and Cru Football would have been fantastic.

Couch Cru is not what it once was. Banging on cans, shaking huge noise makers, finding out information about the opposing team's QB, RB, or whatever and yelling it at them. Those were the days. If only it were still that way.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!
