Thanks to UMHB for the excellent video feed of today's game.  Broadcast crew was professional although "coach" could have been reminded that today's audience was national, too many "we" references.  Gutsy effort by STJ and with Wesley's incredible comeback eastern football is closing the gap.

We play Wesley so frequently we think of Wesley as an extension of the ASC.  ;D
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Great finish today, but the start was ugly. Only 4 rushing yards at the half?? Crazy! The SJF D was very good, and our Offense look inept at times. The D line for SFJ didn't look as big as the Rowan D Line last week and yet we couldn't do anything.

The drive of 97 yards that we took to score was more like our offense has looked all year long. Thankfully, our D was up to the task today.

Great game SJF! Much props.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Thanks for an enjoyable week of talk UMHB posters.  Good luck next week.  Your defense wasn't too bad  ;)

So does anyone know what will be brought into the NCAA's decision of who is hosting the semi-final next week? Does our lack luster offensive performance hurt us in the eyes of the NCAA? Also because UWW definitely had a more impressive win just based on strength of opponent this week. Or has the decision been pre-determined? Just trying to get a good guess on where this one will be
2016, 2018 & 2021 National Champions :)

I thought hosting was based on seeds and, if I'm reading the bracket correctly, UMHB appears to be the #2 seed and therefore would be the host.  Any insight from experts?

We should host. With how the bracket is laid out, we are the overall 2 seed. But the NCAA has overlooked that in the past. But because the committee will not release the seeding, we won't know for sure until tomorrow. SOS has a factor this year too I believe.

WAR EAGLE!!!

A nice post for #25555!  It has been a good day so far. ASC (UMHB) Auburn (SEC)  and now Go Spartans!

Auburn scores 59 in a tense but somewhat comfortable win.  Wesley scores 59 and loses in a barn burner.

Long time follower. Finally decided to create an account. Proud of the CRU for finding a way to win. I was unable to be at the game today.  Question: Was Anderson pulled to try and find a spark on offense? Or, was he injured?  SJF played a really good game. You can tell they are a well coached team.

No injury, he just wasn't being effective leading the offense. When our center went down, that changed the way our line was functioning. That led to a stagnant offense and when Gallagher came in, it just brought a new breath and energy to the offense. I was concerned when I saw the switch, but it's what we needed to put the game away. In the post game interviews, Zach said he had an off day.

According to the NCAA rep at the UW-W game today, there will be a meeting tomorrow morning (I'm assuming that means conference call) and the decision will be announced by noon.  I'm not 100% clear on how this works either. The call could be to decide the hosts or the call could be just to make 100% sure they are all on the same page,"This is what we decided, right?".  It seems like if it were completely predetermined, they would save all of us a lot of trouble by simply telling us when the brackets are released.  But,who knows!  ???
