One BIG problem with the Cru offense all season so far, low snaps. Anderson is having to pick the ball up of the turf too often.

True! They keep switching out the center. Is Cantu hurt? I like consistency.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

I don't know
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Yes, Anderson is getting too many low snaps. But, once Anderson gets the ball he seems like he doesn't know what to do with it. He is holding on to the ball way too long.

Duane Thompson, the freshman from Washington DC, is a stud. I like his moves. Anyone know how he came to be at UMHB?

If it is the same Duane Thompson, he was recruited by several D1 schools. Same name, same HS.

Too many balls snapped to the turf monster for UMHB.

UMHB looked pretty good today.

1. Kicking looked better, but the blocking for the PAT's was not good.
2. Ball being snapped to the ground. Come on, got to do better.
3. Too many penalties...wait, we just got another.

Defense looked good after they acclimated themselves and woke up from the long trip. Backups looked especially good.

Next two weeks will be exciting.

I would like to see fg attempts be a little more toward the center of the goal posts. He has plenty of leg but pulls quite a few left. If he figures that out, he'll be pretty dangerous from  a long way out.

Anyone watching the TLU/ETBU game.  This is fun to watch.  both O's getting it done.  Looked like the D's had a chance early but they are wearing down now.  Both teams are pretty good from what I am seeing.

Yeah it was tough watching from the west west coast (Hawaii) so I relied on the radio...but was finally able to see the TLU/ETBU game although it total lag...I thought ETBU had it well in hand up to the mid of the third then it was like someone deflated the balloon. Two weeks... UMHB/ TLU

Unless TLU greatly changes their scheme, I don't think they'll give us much of a threat. Their lines, both O and D, aren't big and strong, and the way our lines played yesterday, even our 2's and 3's, looked dominant. UMHB has found their RB, and he's just a freshman. He is going to do big things in the coming weeks.

Hey Boardies...Would you call the Sul-Ross State game a Dogfight? I understand saying your guys did some good things, the PAT Block and run back from the blocked PAT was awesome, that guy had some speed on him and he ran like he was running for his life, That's all good, and to say they played their hearts out is fine too, they should be proud of that if they felt they did that....but to say it was a dogfight? (Referring to the write up from Sul-Ross) I wouldn't classify it as a dog fight. Toughts?

I would say the beginning was a fight. Our D guys, mostly sophomores, we're getting used to the environment and recovering from the 10 hour trip. After that 9-6 lead, we smashed 'me in the mouth.

It was a fight the first half of a quarter. They are going to make it sound better than it really was, but hey, I give them credit, they came out and played hard. They have some young players, and hopefully they'll get better and strengthen the ASC.

Now we take on LC and their depleted Offense. I expect a stronger game in preparation for TLU.
