It's possible but the only way I can think of would be for UMHB to lose both their remaining games and for HSU to win both their remaining games which would result in HSU winning the ASC and the bid.

Other than that, if UMHB wins either game they will get the automatic bid and a 2 lose team is not going to get a pool C bid especially since some of your main competition in the south would be TLU who you lost to.

I think the likelihood of a UMHB/TLU re-match in the first round of the playoffs is more likely after tonight.

Agreed!
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Well that's not happening.

had they beat TLU I think they'd have a good shot
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Is anyone getting the video feed for The Cru game? The radio coverage is playing, but the video feed is not loading. It also looks like Howard Simmons has a audio feed but no video.  :(

Howard Payne*   :)

The video feed has stopped altogether for me.  I sent a text to the guy who runs it, but no guarantees he will be checking his phone.  Hopefully they can fix whatever issue they're having.

It sounds like The Cru had a pretty solid first half. It seems that the defense had a few hiccups which allowed Howard Payne to score, but for the most part The Cru's D stood the challenge. The offense seemed to be firing on all cylinders. The plays were equal between rushing and passing as well as spreading out the ball touches to many players making it hard for Howard Payne to guess where the ball was going. Keep up the great work Cru and have a solid second half. A great time for the second and third string to get some well needed real game situations.

UMHB just completely dismantled HPU 84-13.  School record for most points in a game and tied another record with 6 INTs.  Not much else to say, really.  The Cru beat them 80-0 last year, too.  As a fan, I'm glad to see my team win.  But the results from these last 2 seasons are flat out ugly.  I really hope this series becomes more competitive in the future.

Cru win at least a share of the ASC Championship for the 10th year in a row!  Take care of business against ETBU next week and then it's time to prepare for the playoffs.

Gotta think 6 interceptions in 1 game and/or 11 in 2 games has to be a record too.

Congrats to the lone ASC member who made the d3football.com TOW!  From the article...

QuoteRET Ira Jewitt, Sr., Louisiana College
Jewitt returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown in a 26-25 comeback win at Sul Ross State. It was Jewitt's fourth return touchdown of the season (two interceptions, one punt, one kick return), tying him with former UMHB linebacker Javicz Jones and current LC defensive backs coach Justin Charles for most in a single season in ASC history.

I am looking forward to UMHB's regular season finale against ETBU. I'll sporting my long-handled underwear and will be CRU proud and CRU loud in Marshall on Saturday. It will be shortest trip of the season for the Boggs' Bunch - just about 3 hours away from Central Louisiana.

Enjoy the game!  I have too much on my plate to make the trip, so I'll be relying on the video stream, twitter, and d3football.com to keep me updated.

Go Cru!
