To members of The CRU Nation, you can expect a lot of talk - in Texas we have another rather descriptive term for it  - to come  from Linfield fans. They are passionate about their beloved Wildcats and have a proud tradition of winning. I have nothing but respect for the Linfield program and its longstanding standard of excellence on and off the field. I was a season ticket holder and witnessed it first hand for seven years (1999-2006). And 59 consecutive winning seasons (and counting) is beyond impressive - it's eye-popping!

Indeed you are 2-0 against us. Were any players from the current teams there in 2004 or 2009?

Linfield could very well be 3-0 against UMHB after Saturday if we don't play better than we did against TLU, but the results of 5-10 years ago will have nothing to do with it.

The TLU playoff effort was incredible. I really hope for a strong UMHB finish in the playoffs, and in turn,  that the final assessment of the playoffs will show that Texas D3 football is still at the top level.  (The isolation really hurts the growth and development of D3 programs.)

Just read the telegram article about prep for this week and found out one of the starting corners was suspended for violating team rules last week. That maybe why the corner looked gassed. Unlike most of the Cru faithful, I have watched linfield more frequently than every 5 yrs.. Its the product of being an alumni of UMHB & HSU (gotta use the freebies when you can). The cru has had a few game where they looked off and followed it with a complete game complete with offensive smack down. I guesssaturday we' all see what's up.

Yeah, that's why I was hoping for another cakewalk this past weekend for the Cru.  Seems like they really respond to what UMHB would consider a down performance.....
