My favorite Linfield highlights, Ironically from a second round game where they had to do a little traveling.  ;D

Ouch.....that was hard to watch.....at least this year the 2nd round travel is (probably) deserved....that 2011 2nd round was a travesty.....

Watched your cru play on Sunday.  Your D looked gassed, the back side corner was way out of shape.  The Cats will carve the cru D up like a Thanksgiving Turkey.

We were down a starting corner due to violation of team rules. I'm guessing he'll be back Saturday, but, when you can't stop someone on 3rd down all day, you have a reason to be gassed.

Who was it that was out for violation of team rules?

So the play of the week will give whoever was asking a taste of Linfield's video...you could also go back and check out this video from last year's playoff game vs. Hampden-Sydney.

Great tackle by the punter.  :)
i've been waiting all season for someone to break through, "with only the punter to beat!" I want to see the collision and the reaction when they realize ours is not the average punter.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

I saw a few series of the Cru in their first game against TLU.  The D-line was just blowing things up... Big and fast to the ball...didn't look like a d3 team AT ALL!

One thing I really appreciate about Coach Fredenburg is the fact that if a player violates the rules he gets suspended, no matter who, no matter when. Last year, if you recall, All-American defensive lineman Silvio Diaz sat out of the semi-final game against UWW due to the breaking of a team rule. Coach Fredenburg is a man of integrity and has built the UMHB program with that value as a key component.

I'm with you Toby, not much is going to get by Baylor Mullins. He has become my favorite player. He may not be big, but the young man is a football player. If coach put Mullins at nose-guard, he'd find a way to make a play.

I'd like to see that. I'm sure he could sneak through and get some good tackles!

All this trash talk about 04/09 is dumb. A younger me would just pop off, but I'll reserve my comments until after the game. The CRU are definitely zoned in for this one. Weather outlook is great and I'm sure they've been reminded how much this week means to the program. I'm more interested in seeing how many Linfield fans travel to watch this one. The visitor's section has been barren all but a couple games at the CRUthedral. I expect a battle in the trenches and Teidrick to welcome the QB to Texas. I just hope our students roll back to Belton early so they can experience it. That's one thing I've been disappointed about this year. The university hasn't hyped up the games like we used to when I was a student. None the less, it'll be an interesting game and weekend.
