Thanks, 2001, I was not sure when The CRU reported for workouts. It will be interesting to see how things shake out, especially at QB.

Kelly, don't you think Zach Anderson will be the QB.

Bill,

I think there is going to be stiff competition between Anderson and Blake Jackson for the starting role. Whoever emerges as the starter should be poised to have a solid season.

Agreed, but I now we have some good competition from the young guys as well.

Zach has shown glimpses of greatness, Blake got hurt just as he was gearing up for a good run I believe; the battle for these two should be exciting. I hope they take it seriously!
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Definitely is going to be interesting to see how things unfold. At times last year it seemed like Blake was given the chance to take the reins and never could put it all together, and to Zach's credit he always did enough to keep the job. Either way I am betting we see both of them quite a bit as the Cru has never been afraid to use 2 QB's.

For those interested the local NBC news did a 2 part intereview with Coach Pete, http://www.kcentv.com/category/170056/video?autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=11760252

And the best news today...players have reported and this morning as I drove on campus they were in the middle of practice. FOOTBALL IS HERE!

I wasn't feeling the new forum handle (salado_cru), so I went back to my old one.

Also, I purchased Kickoff 2015 this morning.  Football season is upon us, ladies and gents!

Definitely worth a listen as there is specific mention of the ASC.

Seems like most of the local papers have written their starter piece on their local ASC school, all staying about the same thing.

As a biased UMHB fan, I was happy to see that both the local paper and UMHB athletic website had quotes from Coach Pete saying that one of the things he was most happy about was that player leadership was addressed during the off season and that those guys came ready to lead.

UMHB is currently leading Kickoff 2015 sales.  It's great to see so much enthusiasm from our fans... not to mention it's good for D3 as a whole!

Is there a place you can see the sales broken down by each school?
