it was a whale of a first half. Both defenses are playing well. UMHB is running the ball well, and HSU has Jesse Ramos. We'll see what adjustments are made at half. halftime score 9-7 CRU

Cru offense not looking much better on the first possession of the 3rd. Had 2nd and 1 around mid field and failed to get the first. HSU ball on their 30 after the punt

Cru Def looks like they have held this 2nd series and forcing a punt.

HSU crowd looks like it used to when I was at McMurry last 90's and HSU was the top team in ASC

It's pretty clear which team wants it more. UMHB better get serious pretty soon, or they may have to kiss the playoffs goodbye.

Can we do something more than run the middle? Option? Zone read? Screen pass?

Agreed! The offense has been really conservative especially the red zone just now. Their D line is clogging the middle. I think we have to open things up with the pass. Maybe the 4th and wind at our back changes our approach

It seems that too many of The Cru players aren't taking HSU as a true threat. The defense is doing a great job, but the offense is not doing their job! As stated earlier HSU is showing that they want this win much more than The Cru! Come on Cru, lets get going!

Way to punch it in for the TD. Need another big stop and go get some more points. HSU will go for broke so have to be ready for fakes and trick plays

WOW, when is Anderson going to get his head into the game? His decision making is not what it needs to be in a game with so much on the line.
