I appreciate their OC's optimism, but I'm hoping for a mean Cru squad tomorrow.  I don't even care if we fail to put up 80+ points on them for the third straight season.  All I care about is a focused team that plays with passion.

thinking about heading east on Saturday to Marshall.  Big game for Cowboys on Saturday.

Marshall is a great place to see a game. The campus has gotten much nicer, and although all of the fans sit on the same side, the scenery is very nice. Take a stadium seat with you as benches are all you get.

I know ETBU is playing well, and for that I am glad, but I went to the game last year in Marshall and we beat them badly. I don't doubt HSU will do the same.

I had hoped that last week's loss would light a fire under the Crusaders and help them re-focus. It appears that hasn't happened, as they continue to go through the motions and look very pedestrian against a really, really bad HPU team. This team just doesn't appear to have much discipline or passion, and that's disappointing.

They should win this game easily, but a similar performance against ETBU next week will get them beat handily.

Wow. ETBU pulls it out, 27-21. Team chaos reigns.

Well...football happened today.  Congrats to ETBU on a big win against HSU.  The playoff picture for Texas teams is as messy as that field ETBU and HSU played on.  Wow!

I'm glad chaos doesn't ONLY reign in the east region. ETBU vs. MHB should be interesting. What happens in the 3 way tie?

Does tiebreaker matter as there is no auto bid?  Isn't it the regional rankings that are going to be thrown into flux?

I think you are overspeaking here. I don't know if you have watched much HPU in the past, but they played a much more focused and determined game today. I think that  yes, we still looked a little slow at times, but again, we have a young OL that is facing more experienced DL's. Zach looked good today and didn't commit any turnovers, and the RB's looked good also. The D looked a little off to me, but I think we are headed in the right direction.

With ETBU winning, it could be 2003 all over again.

What the What??? so is Pool C the place to be this year, Hey Mount U and Linfield get with it..jump in the waters fine...Sheesh...First UW W then UMHB now Wesley...Ok so the nightmare scenario is playing out in Texas. HSU beats UMHB, ETBU beats HSU...next week UMHB and ETBU face off...My head hurts...

Tiebreaker matters a lot, because whoever is given the #1 will get the AQ.

I think his point is that there is no AQ this year for the ASC, which is something I had forgotten about

Mea culpa.  I thought the ASC didn't have an AQ this year?
