Game Notes for UMHB vs ETBU.  I watched them practice last night, and there was a lot of energy on display.  Hoping that translates to the game.

Yes lots of energy, so much energy you guys will be exhausted if we meet up in the first round like things are projected....just kidding of course good luck, as we both need to take care of business or it won't even matter. Best of luck and hope for healthy players by all.

11 mile run this morning gave me great time to reflect on the past 24 hours.

Life is fleeting and this world is on a slippery slope. Take each moment and savor it. Look at people, really look at them, and give them that moment!

Enjoy the day, ladies and gentlemen! Enjoy each second and play. Root for these kids who have their whole life ahead of them. They play a game and learn life lessons, lessons we are supposed to implement each day.

God bless, and go Cru!
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

HSU 82-14
I think UMHB AND HSU wanted to say, "Any Questions?"

Agreed. Great game for the Cru. The sluggish starts were quickly forgotten as a 3 and out have UMHB great field position and in one play, scored on a pass play to gain a lead they would t relinquish.

ETBU definitely played better than last year, but the final score is not a good indicator of the entire game. After their chance to tie the game, they never did another thing until they scored on our 2nd and third team with their 1's.

UMHB did have a sluggish point where they threw two interceptions in back to back possessions and also a punt, but they quickly erased that with more scores.

Rematch next week, no doubt, but I can't be there cause I have grad school. Go Cru!

Great game today by the Cru.  I loved their fast start.  Those 2 INTs in the endzone were frustrating, but fortunately the defense always seemed to step up and make big plays.  As usual.  Dunno what was up with ETBU's pass coverage, but they were giving our receivers lots of space all day long.  I'm sure Zach and Blake loved it.

Grats to the Cru on a share of the ASC championship!  Great way to end the regular season.

Well the Cru and Cowboys took care of business and now we wait to see if a rematch is in store. Can't see it happening but Hendrix is within 500 miles of UMHB so there is a chance but then that leaves Huntingdon by itself.

On another note I would like to give Zach Anderson some credit for his last 2 games. His numbers didn't reflect it against HPU but I felt he played much better the last 2 games in terms of getting rid of the ball when he needed to and running if that was open.

Also congratulations to Marcus Wimbey who became the all-time leaders in receptions in a career at UMHB.

Can you say monkey stomp? UMHB left no doubt today.

The attendance at the UMHB vs. ETBU game today was 3,841. It seemed like there were a lot more. But, I did notice that a lot more fans got up and started acting like they were at a football game! The Cru played hard and left no doubt that they want to continue on into the post-season. It's all up the the playoff selection committee to decide if UMHB deserves to move on to the playoffs. It's not much fun having to wait on someone to decide your fate. This is one important lesson for The Cru. They need to play hard and all out for the full 60 minutes, take care of business and don't let the other team stick around thinking they have a shot at winning the game. It's always better when you are in the driver seat and in full control of your post-season. Great job Cru, you finished out the season with a bang!

With the ASC temporarily not having an AQ, you were ALWAYS at the mercy of a selection committee.  But get back off the ledge - you're definitely IN.

Most likely in...but as usual it appears only if we can escape the Texas Sub-bracket and then maybe the Island Sub-bracket. I have grown to accept the reality that the bracket is not true, that decisions are made with $ signs in mind over fairness. But every year when I hear the guys do the Bracketology I have to admit my blood boils a little bit that us Island teams get the raw end of the deal if at all possible.
