I am really sorry to hear about John Thorne, outstanding player. I also am going to miss (crazy as it sounds) Ramo's playing. I would go back and watch the post game vids and the guy was just very talented and fun to watch, I wish him well and also good luck in the Gagliardi bid. now looking forward, let's keep this fire stoked, Huntingdon is the next game and I hope to see a Cru on fire for the win. Then, yes, it's our old friend and nemesis Linfield. Hey, wait, didn't I see something like the state of Oregon is closed in December?  ;D we could try...

We used to have games against SAGU/SWAG on a regular basis and then didn't for a while. This year is a bit of a blip. But I don't know much about the school -- would they fit in Division III?

Kinda, the mission and vision question might be the concern for some, but for a football opponent, that might be overlooked.

SAGU is on the previous (pre-WW2) Trinity University campus, in Waxahachie, 30 miles south of Dallas.

SAGU is closer to HPU, SRSU and even McMurry in demographic make-up than UT-Dallas.

SAGU has less of a "liberal arts" curriculum and more of a church professions and sociological/criminal justice/business/education focus.

I have never heard of discussions to bring SAGU into the ASC, but I have been out of the "loops" for 2-3 years now.

Happy Day!

I don't look ahead games   8-)  but I'm hoping the Cowboys are on the LINFIELD schedule the next couple seasons.

Well, both would make good cookin'.
Somebody would have a loss and a decent SOS though.
Um, maybe 2 losses by Holloween, eh?

UMHB has them in Belton next year  and goes to Oregon in 2017
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Indeed.  I plan on making the trip to McMinnville in 2017.  It's already been wife-approved.
