What happened to the QB transfer from CA, Jordan Narramore? Did he get hurt or change his mind? I don't see his name on the roster.

Jordan Narramore announced on Facebook about a week ago that he is hanging up his cleats. It seems his attempt to return to football after a torn ACL did not go as well as he had hoped. He said he was going to focus on academics (I believe he is in the nursing program which, at UMHB, is very demanding) and also help coach the UMHB QBs - I suppose in the capacity of student assistant.

Jordan comes across as a class act. I am glad he is going to stay at UMHB and remain a part of the football program.

I am sorry to hear that, and know from experience what he is going through, senior year I snapped an ankle in the second match, three years DII soccer and in a second it was done.. That call of the wild, you want to be on the pitch but know you can't, I wish the very best to him, but also know the Med program at UMHB is particularly a beast and takes alot to master, my senior changed her degree from nursing to Pre law, found law was easier so I hope the very best for him in his degree and hope he finishes strong there.

As always, GREAT JOB on "Kickoff" Pat, Keith, et al.!

Thanks! If you read one of the very last lines in Kickoff, I do mention that I will be in Belton for the Linfield game. Looking forward to it. :)

Hopefully for us anyway the game will go as well for the Crusaders as your first game at Crusader Stadium, since I believe that was our first game there.

Pat was present at the historic opening of Crusader Stadium (aka The CRUthedral). What a night to remember!

That he was.  I have reached out to Pat to ask him if he would be getting into town at a time that would allow us to meet up, perhaps for lunch or something.  If that works out and anyone wants to join in, that would be great. Millers BBQ?

I'm in, if it will work with Pat's schedule. I known when he made the trip down in 2013 he killed several birds with one stone and visited with Southwestern's head coach and probably did several other things as well.

Game day is approaching, still very anxious to see this years Cowboys.   No scrimmage this year so still a lot of question marks for me, d-line, running back just to name a couple.
