Belhaven threw a red zone interception, but got the ball back and drove for a TD. XP was blocked.

Belhaven 13, Whitewater 7, mid way through 2nd.

Belhaven has left 10 points on the field or this one would be very interesting.

Belhaven had 1st and Goal from the UWW 1 trying to go up 20-10.

QB sneak, one official signaled TD, but was overruled. Next play was a fumble in the end zone.

UWW drove it down and took a 17-13 lead. Big swing of momentum. But far from a blowout. Just about halftime.

Once UWW put in the better backup QB it was over, 59-13 final.

C'mon MJ, most of these good folks didn't watch the game. Our backup QB completed one pass. The problem for the Blazers was that the game lasted 60 minutes, not 30. 489 yards rushing, 7 rushing TD's, and 52 consecutive points says it all.

Not the prettiest win I've seen by UMHB, but certainly not the ugliest. Still too many penalties at critical times and the kicking game was inconsistent. Poor snaps also plagued The CRU much of the game,  but were much better the final few drives.

Lots of positives, but still some negatives that need to be corrected if The CRU is to reach its championship potential (and I believe they will be corrected).

Ready or not, Linfield is coming to town. UMHB will have to be intense throughout the entire game next Saturday for The CRU to be in position to defeat the Cats.

Feel like the 'Cats will be walking into a big old hornet's nest next weekend but I love the fact both programs are willing to roll the dice.

See you on Saturday!

It became very apparent after the half that UW-W just had to shake themselves awake and once done the game was well in hand. I was really sad for Belhaven and the Air raid which was sooooooo apparent you might have just handed the ball to UW-W on the third and not wasted time, they were so set up for it. I would imagine UW-W will get stronger as each match comes, second half they looked familiar.

Wildcat I don't see a down side for each of these programs whatever the outcome and one hell of a game, to me it's a statement, play serious contenders.. Both are willing to make that statement, Like UW-W going after Morningside, go after the big game, gotta love that!

Check out my post in the West Region forum, MonroviaCat.

Big time game this Saturday at the Cruthedral.  Here's hoping for a great atmosphere and competitive game.

If you want some good BBQ, we should all meet up at Millers.  Pat should meet us there also.  We could get there at lunch on Saturday and enjoy some good Q before the game.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

I agree...I love it that both teams are stepping up to the plate to take a big time swing at it.  The Linfield program has BOATLOADS of respect for UMHB and understand what they're facing this Saturday night.
