Another Cru v Wildcat game.  :) Should be another fun one. Linfield is much improved since the beginning of the year. Their D looks to have gotten stronger, and the O is doing just enough.

Minus the pick 6, their O did just enough for the win. I believe our D will be up for the challenge, as always. We are healthy and ready. The O will have to be much better than the first meeting, and today was a good start.

Should be fun.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

I think the Cru wins by 24 next Saturday.....  just kidding.  ;D

I think it will be a close game and most likely come down to who has the ball last or just a couple of plays.

Both teams in my opinion are very closely matched.

Go Cru!

I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in the attendance today. It is the playoffs! We need better attendance next week. The community must step up since the students will be on Thanksgiving break.

My family of 4 will be there from North Dallas!

In my opinion this can be a challenging weekend due to the Thanksgiving holidays

The prize of this game is a lump of coal in the winner's stocking.

At least Linfield made sure the NCAA wasn't going to get the $$$ savings it was banking on! Good job, Wildcats!

UMHB offense looked better today but it will be Defense and Special teams that will win us another title this year.

Can someone tell me what happened with the last play of the UMHB vs. Chapman game? As three of the officials were talking in the end zone the other four had started to run into the tunnel to their locker room! I was watching the play through my binoculars The Cru had the interception in the end zone and when both players hit the ground the Chapman player reached in and held onto the ball. How does that equate to a "simultaneous procession" as the referee called it? Is there even such a thing?

I thought for the most part the officials called the game pretty well. Of course the holding calls were few and far between, but that seems to happen every week.

I was standing in the corner of the end zone where that play happened. You saw exactly what happened. It was a horrible call.

My question concerns when the Chapman player went into the end zone to retrieve the kickoff that went over his head - looked like he touched it - and then attempted to run the ball out and was tackled in the end zone. Shouldn't that have been called a safety?

Kelly, yes that play should of been a safety! From my angle in the upper level, looking through my binocular, I also thought the Chapman player had touched the ball too.

I think the player thought he had touched it. Why else would try to run the ball out of the end zone. Even if he didn't touch the ball, he did not down/kneel the ball, he tried to advance/run the ball out of the end zone. Either way, sure seemed it should have been a safety.

https://youtu.be/UZhNja0slIM Post game news conference for the Cru v Chapman game.

The boys over at the NWC site think the Linfield Cats have a thing or two for the Cru. Perhaps, but I think we have a dynamic QB who is growing well into his position. Should be a lot of fun.

So Linfield scored 14 points in the first half, not including the pick 6, and 6 points in the second half.

The HSU defense played well in the second half and kept Linfield's O out of the end-zone. I think this bodes well for The Cru.

Nnoli ran for less than 30 yards against us, and although they are starting a new QB, is he better than the guy they've had the last few years? I remember we did pretty well against that guy and their defense last year.

While somewhat of a close game, I believe our D to be too big and too fast to give up too many points.

the cru o only scored one td off hsu so....not sure what your point is.  But really, MHB should be favored and should win next week.  The question is, will they?   ;D
