I was really surprised we didn't see more of the Blake Jackson-like offense, from last year's Stagg Bowl.. it really could've been good today against that front.  I guess the PR TD and Pick Six took away the need to bring it out, though.

not sure CR3 is there yet. this was only his 5th start and he is a freshman, that came late to camp. he took a bit of a beating today, but what i saw made me happy about the next 4 yrs

ST Thomas had a great defensive game plan--blitz early and often--don't let the Freshman get comfortable.  It is what I thought Hardin-Simmons should have done against Linfield but, for whatever reason, did not.

Has anyone seen or found any video of Bryce Wilkerson's punt return in the 4th quarter? If you have can you leave a link to it. Also, the tackle by Ajay Fanene of St. Thomas' last attempt to score? Thanks!

Great job Cru! Just enough time to take a deep breath and then start getting ready for Brockport!

Hats off the St. Thomas! They came ready to play and their front line was as big, strong, and fast as they were promised to be! Both of the D's did a good job of neturalizing each other and each offense had a tough time keeping themselves on the field. I think special teams was the major deciding factor. Once again great job Tommies, I'm glad that we only have to play you once.

Very nice. You could see that some of the UST guys knew they didn't have the speed or the angle to get him towards the end, looked like they stopped hustling. Huge momentum shifting play.

That has a good chance of being the D3 Football Play of the Week
I tweeted to Keith when it happened, here's our d3play of the week

Good defensive battle today and a good game all around.

Just one mans opinion but watching today's game with the smaller score/clock on the bottom of the screen is 1,000X better than having the massive graphics on the bottom and the scoreboard (which is usually 10 minutes behind) on the entire left side of the screen.  Either way, I enjoy the play by play guys from UMHB and appreciate the quality broadcast.

I would think Play Of The Week will come down between Bryce's return and Brockport's game winning FG.

Not sure who to believe as I have seen conflicting reports on the time of our game on Saturday. The local paper said that UMHB would get a chance to host Brockport St at noon on Saturday but I am not sure if that is not force of habit because ESPN3 list our game starting at 2:30 with the Mount/UWO game starting at noon. Doesn't really matter but I am anxious for some confirmation from the NCAA or the D3 guys.

my bet would be ESPN3 is right. They usually stagger the semis because of television. Paper may have miss posted because up til semis, all games start noon local in the playoffs

Last year our semifinal started at 2:30 or 3:00.
