I'm certainly not trying to jump ahead to next year with Stagg Bowl week coming up, but does anyone know who the Crusaders' non-conference opponent is in 2018?

Wesleydad... I'm banking that this is going to be a athletefest, push the D lines and O lines it's going to be a showcase of outstanding players rising at the right time and place. UMU has an scary good QB, he will make things happen simply by will of effort so that is going to be a factor, Both have great D lines... push... UMU's O line seems a bit more cohesive as the whole so they would get the lean there, but the talent the Cru have can come and bite at the right time so all things considered it will be a talentfest.

Congrats on the win last Saturday. There's a reason you guys are number 1. Really looking forward to watching the game Friday. Can't go but will watch at Buffalo Wild Wings in Alliance.
Seems appropriate that number 1 and number 2 will battle it out for the championship. Two great teams on the same field. Does it get any better than that?  I don't think so!
Good luck to both teams. Hopefully no injuries on either side. May the better team win.
Of course, in spite of the previous comments, you all (or y'all) know where my loyalties lie.

Congrats to the Cru and their fans for earning the right to play for a second consecutive national championship.   As good as that Wrecking Cru D is, I hope Coach Fred can find a little more consistency in the offense next week.   Safe travels to all who are making the trip!

Roocru...I was lucky enough to meet you & your son at a few Stagg Bowls centered around those great guys at Stone Station.  Looking forward to bumping into you again.
