I'm expecting a whale of a game but I've been saying all year that this year's version of the UMHB defense is better than last year's and I'm going to stick to that. UMHB is a razor thin championship victory.

Just purchased 3 tickets from (540) 375-3004

Looking forward to meeting some of the people on this board at the game.

Go Cru!

The real question is if UMHB has enough offense against a good UMU defense.  Either way--should be a good one.

I'm certainly not trying to jump ahead to next year with Stagg Bowl week coming up, but does anyone know who the Crusaders' non-conference opponent is in 2018?
It's not Linfield.

Sadly, no.  I've heard some rumors, but none of it coming from within the athletics department.  I'm definitely keeping an ear out though.

Looks like I will make it to the Stagg Bowl once again  along with my son who played on the 2004 team and my grandson.  Looking forward to the game and my seventh trip to Salem. Hope to meet up with lots of Cru fans!

Wesleydad, it will be good to see you again as well.  PM me your phone number so I can be sure to reach you.

Roocru...I was lucky enough to meet you & your son at a few Stagg Bowls centered around those great guys at Stone Station.  Looking forward to bumping into you again.

Safe travels!

I remember and hope we can visit again!

Linfield opted to play Carroll College (Frontier Conference - NAIA)

wildcat11,

I've been meaning to get on here all day and announce that, to this point, you have been an absolute prophet. You called The CRU in the Stagg Bowl based solely defense about fourteen weeks ago. There is no doubt, sir, you know your football. I hope your prophecy continues to hold true for another game. You da man!

roo, I will message you later this week with my number.  Just reserved my room so I will be there again this year after missing the last 2.  No stone station, but we can hang with the Mount peeps, they put on a pretty good tailgate and are really nice folks as you well know.  See you on Friday.

Congratulations to the Crusaders for their advancement to the Stagg Bowl. Should be a great game.  Neither team will back down, that's for sure!

Good luck.
