From what I remember HSU was just killed in the field position battle. We possessed the ball for a long time but wouldn't leave our side of the field. This week we CANNOT punt to either of the returners. Punt it out of bounds or go for it. 9/10 they are getting it back at least to where you punted from anyway.

Turn overs have plague UMHB all season. I'm not putting to much stock in first game, because HSU offense is totally different with a different rb than the first game (starter of that game is third string now) and two wr that didn't play in first game much. Still think UMHB wins but not the one sided game it was the first time.

Turnovers plagued us against you guys but not the whole season. In fact I would think in some ways you would want to duplicate the first game since we did have 2 of the 5 fumbles and 1 of the 3 interceptions we have had all year against which is really what kept it close. Not saying you guys didn't force those turnovers but all 3 of our turnovers where in red zone so they easily could have led to some point.

To me the X factor in this game is the HSU defense. Hard to think that even a much better HSU offense will score that much against our defense so the key will be the Cowboys limiting our offense in some way.

I think most teams will try to do what TLU did against us in the lightning delay game. They kept the ball for almost the entire game. That limits us quite a bit.

Thanks for the tip. Happy to say this will be my 9th straight UMHB-HSU game, next year's game will make 10 in a row!

Should be a fun one. I hope the crowd is there on both sides. HSU should bring their band, too. There's a spot for them on the visitor's side.

Edward, your right Mt. Union(1seed) is facing a cupcake team(7/8 seed) not John Carroll(3/4 seed)in the first round. UMHB(1seed) is facing HSU(3/4 seed) in the first round. Thanks for proving my point. Anyways, it's playoff time and enough of bracket talk. My game prediction for the game unfortunately is UMHB 27 HSU 14( closest game UMHB has in the playoffs until Stagg Bowl)

I agree.  The Johnnies will be UMHB by far more than 13 points.

I thought playoff ticket pricing was mandated by the NCAA.   Pat?

Trust me, nobody on either side wants our band there lol. Thanks for the ticket information, I'm sure it'll be packed! It's going to be a lot of fun, UMHB always has very welcoming and fun bantering fans. Looking forward to another visit to UMHB with hopefully a better outcome than my trip either in the season. I know Miller's is a hot spot in Belton, but there's something about Backyard's BBQ in Morgan's Point that I just absolutely love. (I'm also going for the food)!
